1 Peter 4:1 Are you armed?

Good morning all! God is good all the time, all the time God is good.
TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!

1 PETER 4:1 "For as much then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin:"

What is this saying to you? Christ suffered for YOU! In the FLESH Jesus suffered for YOU! So what are you going to do about it? Nothing is NOT ACCEPTABLE!

Arm yourself!! Arm is Greek hoplizomal, which means to equip or outfit as one would outfit an army with the best possible weapons for battle. This you must do also.

This would be the same mind or view toward the suffering that Christ Himself had. Not that Christ enjoyed suffered, but He endured it for our salvation. Will you endure Christian persecution for YOUR SALVATION? To share salvation to others?

Where do you stand? We cannot serve two masters - either the world or Christ! The choice is yours. See you in heaven! Love you all.
