Alpha and Omega

Good morning everyone! Another great day to be alive in the LORD JESUS CHRIST! Wow! God is good all the time, all the time God is good!

Revelations 1:8 "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty."

Alpha and Omega - these are the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet. An alphabet is an ingenious way to store and communicate knowledge. The twenty-six letters in the English alphabet, arranged in almost endless combinations, can hold and convey all knowledge. Christ is the supremem, sovereign alphabet; there is nothing outside His knowledge, so there are no unknown factors that can sabotage His second coming (Col 2:3).

The Lord God is the beginning and the end. God the Father is the eternal LORD and Ruler of the past, present, and future. (Isaiah 44:6; 48:12-15). Without Him you have nothing that is eternal, nothing that can change your life, nothing that can save you from sin.

Is the LORD your reason for living, "The Alpha and the Omega" of your life? Honor the one who is the beginning and the end of all existence, wisdom, and power.

the Almighty - "Almighty God" occurs eight times in Revelation, underscoring that God's power is supreme over all the cataclysmic events it records (4:8; 11:17; 15:3; 16:7, 14' 19:15; 21:22). He exercises sovereign control over every person, object, and event, and not one molecule in the universe is outside that dominion.

To me, these are very strong words. If there is no god there is no eternity. If there is our God, then we can look forward to eternity. Sad, some do believe we live each day to simply die and exist no more. Take time to think about God, think about your relationship with God, and what you can do to further His kingdom.
