Luke 10:17-20 You have power, you should rejoice

Good morning everyone! God is good all the time, all the time God is good.
TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!

Listen a moment to what Jesus said to the 70 and 2 disciples he sent out. Take time to internalize what he is saying and what this means to YOU!

Luke 10:17-20 KJV "Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, 'Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.' And He said to them 'I saw satan fall like lightning from heaven. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you."

v 20 "Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because YOUR NAMES ARE WRITTEN IN HEAVEN.'"

What all is being said here? First, we have the power, in the name of Jesus, to cast out demons.
Then Jesus says, "I saw satan fall like lightning from heaven." What does this mean? It means Jesus was with God, is God, and has been here since the beginning. Jesus was, is, and is to come.
We, Christians, with the power of Jesus, have authority or power over the enemy and can't be hurt. But, be mindful of putting on the full armour of God.
Aw, now the really good 'stuff.' Why should we rejoice? Because YOUR NAME is written where? In HEAVEN!! IN HEAVEN!!
If that does not excite you, you may need an attitude adjustment so your attitude will allow you the altitude. Altitude? Yes, to be in heaven with Jesus, God, the Holy Spirit!! It don't get no good'r dan dat!!!(East Tx talk)

In Christ's Love and Grace
Johnny
