Ecclesiastes 8:4-6 Who has the power?

Good morning everyone! God is good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!

What powerful words come, once again, from the Bible. These next verses in Ecclesiastes please read, savor, and let knowledge and wisdom fill you.

Ecclesiastes 8:4-6 KJV, this is clearer to me; let's see what you think. "I counsel thee to keep the king's commandment and that is regard of the oath of God. Be not hasty to go out of his sight; stand not in an evil thing; for he doeth whatsoever pleaseth him. Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou? Whoso keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a wise man's heart discerneth both time and judgment. Because to every purpose there is time and judgment, therefore the misery of man is great upon him."

His command - God's command......backed by great power. If God can just speak and something happens...wow! What great power. How could you argue against God? Many do because they will not accept Jesus as their savior.

Don't leave or abandon God, He is the power, the key, the door to our future. Evil will not get you there. If we keep the commandment we won't feel evil but a wise man's heart to decide time and judgment.

To every purpose there is time and judgment. Take a moment to reflect on this statement.

The next statement - the misery of man is great upon him. What is this referring to? If we follow the all powerful, then we should use judgment and sidestep misery. However, if we follow evil, what will then happen?

Overall, what I get from this set of scriptures is: God is all powerful, we follow Him not evil and our days will be more free of misery and leads to eternal life. Tell me what you read and receive. Would appreciate your feedback as I struggled with these verses this morning. Love you all.

In Christ's Love and Grace

Johnny
