In Whom or What do you trust?

Good morning every one!!! I hope you are blessed this wonderful day in the Lord Jesus Christ. Things happen that we don't understand, and things happen that we do understand. Psalm 119:105 "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." We should be leaning on God completely.
Proverbs 3:5 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding." We need to put ALL our trust in the LORD!! When we do...unbelievable things will happen. When Peter gave complete trust to the Lord, and his eyes were focused solely on JESUS, guess what..... HE WALKED ON WATER. T H E N , he began to trust in himself and what happened? Yes......he began to sink and who do you think he called out for help from.....Yes, JESUS!!!
No, this does not mean you can take a picture of Jesus and walk across a lake. This simply means we need to remain focused on Jesus in all our lives in every day in every way. Allow God to provide guidance for you life by reading His Word. Let God speak to us through the Word, and know that the Bible is a gift from God.
John Wesley said, "All the knowledge you want is comprised in one book, the BIble." Daniel Webster "The Bible is a book of faith, and a book of doctrine, and a book of morals, and a book of religion, of special revelation from God, but it is also a book which teaches man his own individual responsibility, his own dignity, and his equity with his fellow-man." In Whom or What do you trust? If it does not begin with "J" or "G" then it is time to re-evaluate our lives. All we have to do is keep Jesus/God number one in our life. Pray about this today, let God lead.
Thank you for reading today. Love you all. God is good all the time and all the time God is good. Pray for yourself first, cleanse yourself, then pray for others.
In Christ's Love and Grace
Johnny
