What is eternal? GOD'S WORD

Well, well, hello all! How great is our God!! God is just, and fair, and right! Where do yo sit in your relationship with our heavenly Father. Without God, exactly what are you?

1 Peter 1:24-25 "As the Scriptures say, "People are like grass; their beauty is like a flower in the field. The grass withers and the flower fades. But the word of the LORD remains forever." And that word is the Good News that was preached to you."

Here Peter quotes Isaiah 40:6-8 and reminds believers that everything in this life - possessions, accomplishments, people - will eventually fade away and disappear.

Only God's will, God's word, and God's work are permanent. We must stop grasping the temporary and begin focusing our time, money, and energy on the permanent, the WORD OF GOD and our ETERNAL LIFE IN CHRIST.

We are mortal, God's Word is eternal and unfailing. Public opinion changes and is unreliable, but God's Word is constant. Only in God's eternal Word will we find lasting solutions to our problems and needs. Isaiah 40:8 ".....but the word of our God stands forever." Thank you for reading with me today. Love you all.
