God blesses you....

Good morning everyone!! Sorry I was AWOL for a couple of days last week. It was a crazy and wild week. Just a caution, protect any person info you have, checkbooks, credit cards, personal info like drivers license, etc. Thieves take pictures with cell phone and then sell the info. It is an invasion of your privacy, yet it does happen. If you need more details please email me. God is good all the time, all the time God is good!!!

Beatitudes - Matthew 5:11 "Blessed are you when men revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so men persecuted the prophets who were before you."

Through Christ, our eyes and minds and hearts are opened. We begin to see what is really going on in ourselves and in the world around us. God did not depart from the world after creating it. God continues to be with us. God did not turn control of this world over to any king, nation, or assemblage. God isour judge and ruler!! To live for any goal other than those God commends is futile and foolish.

Unfortunately, our pride, ambition, and greed - our lust for honor, power, and possessions can blind us to the needs and sufferings of my fellow human beings. Selfish concerns can also cause us to forget our relationship with God and our dependence on him. Therefore, we are tempted to block ourselves out of God's favor and to live as if we were a citizen of an alien kingdom.

God continues to offer us the opportunity to have an enduring relationship we call "love divine." We need to trust and obey God continually. Stay in relationship with God. Thank you for reading with me today. Love you all.
