Do ya love others? Really? 1 Peter 1:22

Good morning all. God is good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!

What is going on in the world? Did you know in 1928 Steamboat Willie starring Mickey Mouse, being the first sound synchronized animated movie created by Walt Disney, came out on this date?
Did you know that on Nov. 18, 1978, more than 900 people died in Jonestown, Guyana, after Peoples Temple cult leader Jim Jones urged them to kill themselves by drinking cyanide-laced grape punch?
What am I saying? I am saying things happen all the time all over the world, good and bad, and there seems to be no constant, no assurance of what will happen next. No assurance in this world except 1 ! Jesus Christ!!
1 Peter 1:22 "You were cleansed from your sins when you obeyed the truth, so now you must show sincere love to each other as brothers and sisters. Love each other deeply with all your heart."
Sincere love involves selfless giving; a self-centered person can't truly love. God's love and forgiveness free you to take your eyes off yourselves and to meet others' needs. by sacrificing his life, Christ showed that he truly loves you.
Now you can love others by following his example and giving of yourself sacrificially. Be that spark of encouragement. Tomorrow, yes, Saturday, we will talk about Joses. Love you all.
