What are you doing to the Holy Spirit??

Good morning everyone!!! What a..brrrrr...cool morning here in East Texas!! Makes you want to climb back into bed, turn on a movie or soft music and go back to sleep. Well, it does me anyway....lol.. As we go into the weekend please remember people in your prayers. Please take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to fill you with his understanding, also a special prayer for Bobby, Lisa, Ashley, Whitney, Jayde, and anothter Ashley. They are fighting illnesses that are keeping them back. Thank you.
Ephesians 4:30-32 (New International Version) 30And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 32Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
Now, what is this saying to you. The Holy Spirit is a very sensitive person, stop offending Him by your rebellious deeds or bad words. You are sealed, marked, purchased by God and will be transformed into His likeness in the end. You need to void yourself of all forms of bitterness, resentment, anger. Do not let wrath build up in you as it will eat away at you and your witness of the Holy Spirit being in you, of Jesus, of God! Stop having bursts of anger, using insulting words, put away all of your bad things, all of your vices. God wants us to make a house cleaning of his temple, which is you, and be rid of all unchristian characteristics.
Verse 32 what does Paul say? Be kind, tenderhearted, erciful, compassionate, loving to one another. Why? That person made me mad, or that car isn't driving right, or..... WHOA!!! We are to forgive others just as God forgave us. We should let the life of Christ show in us and through us. This is the evidence needed to show we have put on the new nature, we are of God. God forgives, God forget, we must also!!!
So, as we go into the weekend what are you doing to the Holy Spirit? Are you grieving Him, or greeting Him? The choice is yours!!! The choice is yours....walk in the light with God....or..walk in the dark without God!
Thank you for reading with me today. Paul has so much to tell us, we need to be as Timothy and hunger for more and more of God's word. Love you all have a great weekend, see you on Monday. Be safe!!
In Christ's Love and Grace
Johnny
