Hope for the future??? Why????

Good morning everyone!! I hope this is a great day in the Lord Jesus Christ for you!!! God is good all the time, and all the time God is good!!
In studying for today the author of my book describes each moment of our life as brush strokes. Each victory in Christ and each defeat are only brush strokes in the big picture of our life. We can neither erase or change the strokes that have already been laid, however, we can continue the painting and let what comes next be beautiful and blending to create a beautiful picture of which our Father in heaven will be proud. Philippians 3:13 "I am focusing all my energies on this one thing: forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead."
Proverbs 23:17-18 "Always honor the Lord. Then you will truly have hope for the future." Yes, we learn and gain wisdom and knowledge from the past, but if we keeping looking back we are unable to continue forward. Let's all look ahead, focusing on God, and continue on boldly, and with God's help our life will be a beautiful work of art.
