What's is your future???

Good morning to one and all!! Yes, God has given us two beautiful spring days. Isn't that exciting.......about the time we want to complain about the rain (or snow) then we are given the opposite. Let us rejoice in the present and enjoy what God has given us right now, this very instant.
Jeremiah 29:11 "I KNOW THE PLANS I HAVE FOR YOU," says the Lord. "THEY ARE PLANS FOR GOOD AND NOT FOR DISASTER, TO GIVE YOU A FUTURE AND A HOPE."
You know, at your birthday or at Christmas we receive a present, wrapped in paper. We may take the present, lift it, shake it gently, look at it and wonder......hum.......what could it be? We tend to be excited about the future......wondering when I take all the pretty wrapping off, what will this box hold in store for me?? We are excited about the future....about that final opening. Then when you do dig into it we grab the paper, rip it off, chunk it away and open the box for what???? To see what is in store for us!!!!! We are excited about the future, the opening of the box.
Your future is told, you have a gift, but do you tear into it with great excitement?? Or do you let it lie???? Idle and waiting???? And what gift would that be???? B I B L E When was the last time you picked it up? Sunday??? When was the last time you were EXCITED about reading your Bible??? Last Sunday, last month, the year you were saved????
When we get excited about the future, God is with us, we are like the clothing today.....NO FEAR!!! Where are you sitting??? Ask yourself some questions. Will you: Think of the future as a gift from God? Believe that God is in control of your future? Try to live in the present, one day at a time? Accept that God will take care of you in the future? Remember what God has done for you in the past when you start to fret about the future. Look forward to all the things God has in store for your life? Realize that God will be with you all the days of your life?
Let me close with this thought from Corrie Ten Boom: "Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God."
Thank you for reading! May God bless you in the present as you prepare to meet the future. Love you all!!! Tear into your Bible and enjoy the gifts you will find. It's your birthday, get crazy......read your BIBLE!!
IN CHRIST'S LOVE AND GRACE
Johnny
