Are you acting by faith?......Or by law???

Good morning everyone. what a wonderful day to be alive in Jesus!! If you don't believe that, go back to bed,and get up again. LOL God takes care of us so well, we just have to remember to give HIM the praise and glory.
If you look at Acts 15.....the church is trying to have the first split in the Christian church. Why? Due to law! What law? Moses law of being circumcised. The question came up, do the Gentiles need to be circumcised or not? A major question for the time! Some of the leaders at the time were converted Pharisees and they were having trouble letting go of the law of Moses. Once Jesus came we were saved by FAITH! No sacrifices, no circumcism, no atonement for our sins EXCEPT by believing in Jesus.
How many times do we, in modern civilization, split a church because of an interpretation by someone. Speaking in tongues, dancing, baptism by sprinkle or dunked, are we accepting the Lord God Almighty by faith through Jesus Christ? That should be the rock on which our decisions are based. Where do you stand? Are you acting in faith? Or by law? Or are you acting at all? Today is a good time to STOP, DROP, and PRAY!!
Lord, we just thank you for giving us your son Jesus, who shed His blood so that we may have everlasting life. Thank you for all we are blessed with and do not deserve. Forgive us where we fail you, and make us strong in your word. Bless each of us, be with us, keep us safe from physical and spiritual harm throughout the day, week, month, and year. Amen.
