Are you standing, watching, holding coats??

Good morning everyone!!! What a great day to be alive in the Lord Jesus Christ. You know, we don't understand a lot of things, we wonder why, and then we question God. Why........the untimely death.......the unfortunate accident......the loss of job or income......the break up of a home..... the one who knows why is GOD!!!!
Do things just happen? Are we standing around, holding coats, and just calmly or cheerfully watching? When something happens we, as humans, try to figure out just WHY it happened. Does it really matter? Maybe so, maybe not!! Should we spend time trying to figure out WHY? Or should we accept it as something from GOD and just go on? God gave us free will, God gave us a mind, God gave us resources.....don't you think HE wants us to use those? I do believe HE does, but use them for HIS good.
Sometimes we end up just watching, holding others coats, and hanging around. God may come and give us an earth shattering experience. There was a young man who wittnessed a killing, in fact he held the coats of many who were doing the killing. He had no problem with this at the time. Later, he had a life changing experience.....he came face to face with Jesus!! Would this excite you? Not if your name was SAUL and you were on your way to Damascus to kill or imprison more Jews.
Saul became Paul, was face to face with the Messiah, blinded, and became a stong advocate for Christ. Now, my life, and maybe not your life, did not undergo such a drastic change. Paul have to offer his credentials proving he was of the Lord. But the big question here is: "Is Christ Living in you?" If so, let's rejoice, if not what are you waiting for???
