How do you walk?

Good morning! Another great day to be alive in Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour! God is good all the time, all the time, God is good! How is your walk today? Fleshly or Spiritually?

You say: “I can’t forgive myself!” God says: “I Forgive you!” 1 John 1:9 & romans 8:1

Romans 8:1 “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”

1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”If you heard, “Not guilty; let him go free.” What would these words mean to you if your were on death row? Fact is, we, the human race, are on death row, justly condemned for repeatedly breaking God’s holy law. Without Jesus we would have no hope at all. But thank GOD! He has declared us not guilty and has offered us freedom from sin and power to do His will.

We are not guilty because of Christ’s death. We need to confess our sins to God and receive Christ’s cleansing. By doing so we: 1)are agreeing with God that our sins truly is sin and that we are willing to turn from it, and 2) are ensuring that we don’t conceal our sins from Him and consequently from ourselves, and 3) are recognizing our tendency to sin and relying on His power to overcome it.
