Holy Spirit - the guide of the Christian life

Good morning everyone! God is good all the time, all the time God is good. Another great day to serve Jesus. At the end is a little tidbit I want to thank Chuck for sending.

God will help you to follow and obey him. As a Christian, you have been given the Holy Spirit. He will give you insight into what God is like and what he wants you to do.

God give you his Holy Spirit to enable you to live the Christian life. John 14:26 "But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative-that is, the Holy Spirit-he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you."

Jesus promised the disciples that the Holy Spirit would help them remember what he had been teaching them. This promise ensures the validity of the New Testament. The disciples were eyewitnesses of Jesus' life and teachings, and the Holy Spirit helped them remember without taking away their individual perspectives.

We can be confident that the Gospels are accurate records of what Jesus taught and did. The Holy Spirit can help us in the same way. We can trust Him to plant truth in our mind, convince us of God's will, and reminds us when we stray from it.

Write down one, 1, question that you'd like the Holy Spirit to help you with. Then take a couple of minutes and just talk to God about it.

Love you all. In Christ's Love and Grace
Johnny

here is a little tidbit sent in that is really good. Please think about what you feed.

TWO WOLVES

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.

He said, "My son, the battle is between two wolves inside us all.

"One is Evil - It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

"The other is Good - It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: "Which wolf wins?"

The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."
