2 Timothy 4:13 What are you standing up for? Jesus?

Good morning everyone! God is good all the time, all the time God is good!

Have you thought about yesterday's theme? Do you continue to hold on to what someone has done in the past, or do you look for growth and maturity in that person and help to nurture them along? Have you grown as well?

2 Timothy 4:13 "When you come, be sure to bring the coat I left with Carpus at Troas. Also bring my books, and especially my papers.

Paul obviously was arrested, tried, and throw into prison very abruptly and quickly. In verses 14 & 15 he tells Timothy to beware of Alexander the coppersmith as he did Paul much harm. It sound like bearing false witness.

Paul wanted his coat as he was throw into a cold and damp prison. Paul was suffering for being a believer in Jesus Christ, our LORD and savior. Have you suffered for Jesus? Or have you suffered because you failed to follow Jesus?

Last week I mentioned two words: world & word. If you are walking in the WORLD, you need to get the "L" out and walk in the WORD. Take time to think about this. We will experience hardships, as did Paul when walking in the word. The difference is when walking in the word there is a bright shining light at the end of the tunnel. When walking in the world, there is no SON (sun) so there is no light.

Do you stand up for the WORD of GOD? If you don't......WHY? I enjoy being on the staff of Jesus Christ as I know the retirement is OUT OF THIS WORLD. Love you all.

In Christ's Love and Grace

Johnny
