Bla-bla-bla...promises-promises-promises

Good morning everyone. God is good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!

This week we have talked about promises to God, cheap grace, idols. Well, we know if you talk the talk you need to walk the walk. Also, are you oppressed? Probably, do you enjoy all the government rules, regs, and taxes? Or do you just trip along is la-la land where every thing is hunky dory?
First, promises - Solomon warns us about making foolish promises. Ecclesiastes 5:7 "Talk is cheap, like daydreams and other useless activities. Fear God instead."
I am a billionaire. There, I said it - but does it make it true? Well, I am only about a billion short. No! What is said by humans is not always true. Check it out.
Cheap grace. Could this be compared with the wealthy who have as their god more wealth? If I tithe more than you, profess to be saved by Jesus Christ, am I greater than you in the church? Some may think so - the real question is: are you experiencing "cheap grace" or "true grace?"
You say what is the difference? The difference is 'cheap grace' says the sinners prayer and continues life as before. No seeds sowed, no harvest to come. Then 'true grace' says the sinners prayer, life changes, and life becomes a living testimony for God.
Going into the new year I ask you to look back, reflect, is your talk cheap or real? Do you show cheap grace or true grace? Some signs say "Jesus is the hope for the new year." I disagree, Jesus is the hope for each moment. Don't pray and wait for the new year. Get up, go out, spread the word, pray constantly, share the wealth - the wealth of salvation.....J E S U S ! Love you all.

In Christ's Love and Grace
Johnny
