Either GOD........or........Baal

Good morning everyone!!It is raining here this cheery a.m. Sometimes we grumble....wish it wasn't raining......then a week later....sure is hot and dry we need some rain. Can we never be pleased. GOD IS IN CONTROL!!! WHY, THEN, MUST WE GRUMBLE??/ 1 Kings 18:21 "How long will you halt and limp between two opinions?"Life Application Bible "Then Elijah stood in front of them and said, 'How much longer will you waiver, hobbling between two opinions? If the Lord is God follow him! Buf if Baal is God then follow him! But the people were completely silent.'"
This kind of an either or situation. Either God is the almighty Creator of the universe who can help you....OR....He is not!! Either God can raise the dead and bring you hopes and dreams to life.... OR.....He can't. If he can't, then the claims of the Bible are false.
We are not at a crossroad in our life......we should know which road we will travel. Not like rooting for the Dallas Cowboys, one week we are for them, the next week it doesn't matter. GOD matters, GOD is in control, satan is roaming....quickly, intensely, trying to get converts .... so....who are you going to follow?
Psalm 22:5 "To YOU they cried out and were delivered; in YOU they trusted and WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED." So.....who are you going to follow?
Thank you for reading today. God is good, all the time, all the time GOD is good. I added a devotional by Max Lucado that really touched me, may it touch you as well. Love you all.

Daily Devotional by Max Lucado "the One who came still comes and the One who spoke still speaks" September 1 Everyone who asks will receive. Everyone who searches will find.MATTHEW 7:8 Once there was a man who dared God to speak: Burn the bush like you did for Moses,God. And I will follow. Collapse the walls like you did for Joshua, God. And Iwill fight. Still the waves like you did on Galilee, God. And I will listen.
And so the man sat by a bush, near a wall, close to the sea and waited for God tospeak. And God heard the man, so God answered. He sent fire, not for a bush, butfor a church. He brought down a wall, not of brick, but of sin. He stilled astorm, not of the sea, but of a soul.
And God waited for the man to respond. And he waited.. . and waited. But becausethe man was looking at bushes, not hearts; bricks and not lives, seas and notsouls, he decided that God had done nothing.
Finally he looked to God and asked, Have you lost your power? And God looked at him and said, Have you lost your hearing? A Gentle Thunder Max Lucado
