Revelation 3:13-14

Good morning! God is good all the time, all the time God is good!

Revelation 3:13-14 "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, "These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God."

Obviously, pay attention, be attentive to God, listen. Then talking to the church leader of Laodiceans, here is a message. Laodicea became the wealthiest, most important commercial center in the region. It was known for banking, wool, and medicine.

An inadequate local water supply forced the city to build an under-ground aqueduct. This, and the 3 industries played a major part in this letter. The church began through the ministry of Epaphras, while Paul was ministering in Ephesus.

the Amen - This is a common biblical expression signifying certainty and veracity. According to 2 Corinthians 1:20, all the promises of God are fulfilled in Christ; all God's promises and unconditional covenants are guaranteed and affirmed by the person and work of Jesus Christ.

Faithful and True Witness - He is a completely trustworthy and perfectly accurate witness to the truth of God.

Beginning of the creation - This corrects a heresy, apparently present in Laodicea and in Colosse, that Christ was a created being.

Thank you for reading. Love you all.

In Christ's Love and Grace
Johnny
