GOOD FRIDAY!

Wow! A great day to be alive in Jesus Christ our LORD and Savior. GOOD FRIDAY! God is good all the time, all the time God is good!

The saddest day in man's life.....when a man was hung on a cross.
The happiest day in man's life....when a man rose from the dead.

Yes, this man is one in the same, JESUS CHRIST, our LORD, our savior, the man who lifted the law and gave us grace. The man who took us from slavery to freedom. The man who came back to save the world.

Jesus went to the cross in AD 33, nearly 2000 years ago. On this day, from noon until 3 p.m. the land went black, then, when Jesus gave up the Spirit, earthquakes happened, tombs opened, and the curtain in the temple was torn. Was He truly the Son of God?

Peoples eyes should have been opened, however, some were cold, callused, and walking steadily away from God. Good Friday is a day of celebration for the Christian world as Jesus freed us.
