PRAYER - National Day of Prayer

Good morning everyone! God is good all the time, all the time God is good! Today is national day of prayer, there won't be one held at the white house, but we don't have to be in Washington D.C. to pray.

Abraham, Genesis 24:25 "Before I had finished praying in my heart........"

Jesus; Matthew 26:39 "He went on a little farther and bowed with his face to the ground praying, "My father! If it is possible, let this cup of suffering be taken away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.""

Jesus; Mark 11:22-24 "Then Jesus said to the disciples, "Have faith in God. I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, 'May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,' and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart."

Jesus; Mark 11:25 "But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too."

Luke 3:21 "On day when the crowds were being baptized, Jesus himself was baptized. As he was praying, the heavens opened."

These are just parts of the Bible talking about prayer. First, comes from the heart, second-be in a reverent state, third-God's will, fourth-have faith, fifth-forgive others then you will be forgiven, and finally the heavens will open.

When the heavens open God's love and mercy will rain on us. To the Christians it will be pure and wonderful; to the non-believer it will be acid and harmful. Open your arms for God's blessings and rejoice on this National Day of Prayer. Love you all.

In Christ's Love and Grace

Johnny
