Are you in the present? Mark 1:35

Good morning everyone! God is good all the time, all the time God is good! TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!

Are you present? Sounds like an oxymoron. But really, are you present? We hurry, hurry, hurry, and the whole world revolves around us. Have to hurry breakfast, hurry getting ready, hurry to work, hurry to get everything complete at work only to start again tomorrow, hurry home, etc....... We are not present. Huh?

When we eliminate hurry we become present, or present to the present moment in all of its glory. We become aware of our surroundings. We see colors, smell smells, hear hushed sounds, and can actually feel a breeze in our face. We "show up" and are present.

When we show up we can experience the fullness of life; we can be constantly connected to God. Are you connected to God? Right now? Mark 1:35 "Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He (Jesus) went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed."

Slow down and be present. If not the train of life will be gone and you will be standing at the deport with your ticket. Being present is a "present" that we should appreciate. So, rise 10 minutes earlier, take time to be with God, pray, and see how your day goes. Love you all.
