FAITH - aBig Oak or a squash? Matthew 17:20

Good morning everyone! God is good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!

Head knowledge or faith? Satan has the head knowledge of the Bible; what is lacking.
What is faith? Here is what the dictionary said:
1. Confident belief in the truth, value, or trustworthiness of a person, idea, or thing.
2. Belief that does not rest on logical proof or material evidence.

Matthew 17:20 "You don't have enough faith," Jesus told them (disciples). "I tell you the truth, if you had faith even as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mountain, "Move from here to there,' and it would move. Nothing would be impossible."

Jesus wasn't condemning the disciples for substandard faith; he was trying to show how important faith would be in their future ministry.

If you are facing a problem that seems as big and immovable as a mountain, turn your eyes from the mountain and look to Christ for more faith. Only then will you be able to overcome the obstacles that may stand in your way.

Faith is an ongoing, growing process. A.H. Strong relates this story. A student asked the president of his school whether he could not take a shorter course than the one prescribed. "Oh yes," replied the President, "but then it depends on what you want to be. When God wants to make an oak, He takes a hundred years, but when He wants to make a squash, He takes six months."

Our growth is as the big oak, some years it grows a lot, some years not hardly at all. When the oak is not growing much, it is solidifying the growth it already has. Are you as the oak or as the squash? Let's all grow in our faith. Love you all.

In Christ's Love and Grace
Johnny
