Galatians 3:1 False Gods?

Good morning everyone! God is good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!

We have talked about being hypocritical in our walk. Some times we are not hypocritical against one another but against God. What do you mean by that? Well, sometimes we do our "CHURCHY" things on Sunday and then follow other things, aka false gods during the week. Huh?

Galatians 3:1 "Oh, foolish Galatians! Who has cast an evil spell on you? For the meaning of Jesus Christ's death was made as clear to you as if you had seen a picture of his death on the cross."

The Galatian believers had become fascinated by the false teachers' arguments, almost as though an evil spell had been cast on them. What? I would never follow a false teacher! Oh, well, when studying the Bible, how many times do we take a verse or verses and say, "what that really means is" and twist it our way to meet our needs? Have you done this? Oh, I have, and I have to ask forgiveness for doing so.

Magic was common in Paul's day (Acts 8:9-11; 13:6,7) Magicians used both optical illusions and satan's power to perform miracles, and people were drawn into the magicians' mysterious rites without recognizing their dangerous source.

Oh, but I would never do that! Have you, or do you read your horoscope each day to see how your day goes? There are Christians that do. Check your Bible and see what is said about this. Would it not be better to pray and trust in the LORD each day than run to the paper, computer, phone, or wherever to see your horoscope?

Be ware my friend. Let your walk to one that is exemplary of the Bible. Remember, you may be the only Bible some people read today, tomorrow, or each day. Non-Christians may be watching you. Do a 100 things good, no one notices-do 1 thing bad and everybody knows. Love you all. Walk the Jesus walk today. Now it is prayer time.

In Christ's Love and Grace

Johnny
