A quiet life - doing your job! 1 Thessalonians 4:11,12

Good morning everyone! God is good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!

1 Thessalonians, written by Paul, offers good instruction and guidance for us all. Whether you are in an established church, having the same pastor for years, or are experiencing change with a new pastor, Paul offers good instruction. Paul ends 1 Thessalonians 5:27,28 with a command for all Christians to hear his letter. He was answering questions and offering encouragement to these people. This is what we must offer to each other - encouragement; answer questions out of Christians love and concern.

As a Christian we must do more than love one another, this is only the beginning. We must be responsible in all areas of life. We should not develop a life style of idleness and depend on others for handouts or to do our work.

You will be effective in sharing your faith if you work hard and live quiet lives. Others, non-Christians will respect you for what you do and you must do it (work) faithfully and be a positive force in society. Live quiet lives does not mean being meek melba milk toast - but just not boasting.

1 Thessalonians 4:11,12 "Make it your goal to live a quiet life, minding your own business and working with your hands, just as we instructed you before. Then people who are not Christians will respect the way you live, and you will not need to depend on others."

Remember, you are created by God to make a dent in the universe.God has a plan for your life and it is as unique as a fingerprint. Love you all.

In Christ's Love and Grace
Johnny
