Are you-- the lead dog? member of the body?

Good morning all!  God is good all the time, all  the time God is good.  TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!!!!
We should rejoice in the LORD always.  However, sometimes we feel we carry all the burdens for everyone around and are weighted down.   This is not what we are to do.  To carry a burden for someone else or for something is simply an alternate form of worry.  Worry is like shoveling smoke; it stirs it around some, but does absolutely no good.
Well, things come up and I have to take care of them.  Yes, things happen and is the first response to "fix" it, or to pray and let God, the Father, help you with the situation?
Jesus says this in Matthew 11:28-30  "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. (29)Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. (30)For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
You may be carrying the burden of sins, excessive demands by others, oppression, persecution, or weariness.  Jesus frees us from all this through love, healing, and peace with God.  It does not mean, however, that work or labor will end.  Jesus is saying that when you lean on Him, He will help carry you through; the yoke will be lightened.
When we lean on Jesus, gaining strength from Him, things do not tend to look so glum and dismal.  We can think of ourselves as the sled team of dogs; if you aren't the leader---the scenery never changes.  The lead dog sees ahead, sees the curves in the road, the final destination, and can continue on until the end.  The other dogs just follow, plodding along, and carry the load, even though it is shared equally.
In our walk with Christ, we need to be the lead dog, seeing what is ahead, leading others safely on the right path, and continuing until the end.
As in the rest of the dog sled team, Galatians 6:2 "Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ."  The team shares the burden, yet not one feels he is above the other.  Galatians 6:3 "For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself." (4) But let every man prove his own work, and then shall be have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another."
We are all members of the body of Christ.  The eye does not say I am not part of the face; it is all one body.  We all have our "part" in the body, and our job is to do that part.  This lessens the burden on any one team member.  The leader (pastor) can become so weighted from having to carry the burden of others he may slide away from, or slight his main purpose---to minister to the people.
What I am saying here, is if you are a member of the body of Christ, don't bring meaningless, worry-some problems in your area to the pastor or spiritual leader.  Take care of your own responsibilities.  In plain simple English:  "DO YOUR JOB FOR CHRIST!"  Very simple.  I do hope this makes sense to you all.  Love you all.
In Christ's Love and Grace
   Johnny
