Are you a light-bearing witness?

Good morning everyone! Another wonderful day to be alive in the Lord Jesus Christ! God is good all the time, all the time God is good!

There is so much information in Revelation and each verse it is difficult to do multiple verses or chapters via blogging. So please, do bear with the study and hopefully this will be worthwhile. Also, to review you can go to www.johnnybdaily.blogspot.com and look at all the daily studies we have done to this point.

Revelations 2:5 "Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent."The church is commanded to repent or suffer removal. For Jesus to "remove you lampstand from its place" would mean the church would cease to be an effective church.
Just as the seven branched candlestick in the Temple gave light for the priests to see, the churches were to give light to their surrounding communities.
But Jesus warned them that their lights could go out. In fact, Jesus himself would extinguish any light that did not fulfill its purpose.
The church needed to repent of its sins. God's judgment could end the church. How is YOUR church, talking about you, as a temple. Are you spreading your light? Are you spreading light to the ones around you? Thank you for reading today. Love you all.
In Christ's Love and Grace
Johnny
