Whose doctrine do you follow?

Good morning everyone!! Wow!! Another great day to be alive in Jesus! You think yesterday was hot........try hell! God is good all the time, all the time God is good.

Revelation 2:15-16 "Thus you also have those wo hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate. (16) Repent, or else I will come to you quickly and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth."

v 15 - The teaching of the Nicolatians led to the same behavior as Balaam's schemes.

v 16 - The church was called upon to exercise its disciplie. This sword is God's judgment against rebellious nations and all forms of sin. Just as the Romans used their swords for authority and judgment, Jesus' sharp two edged sword represents God's ultimate authority and judgment. It may also represent God's future separation of believers from unbelievers. Unbelievers canno experience the eternal rewards of living in God's kingdom.

Where are you today? Where are we today? Where is our church today? Are we compromising and falling to the level Balaam desired? Are we reaching out, telling others of the word of Jesus Christ, the Truth, the Way? Thank you for reading with me today. Love you all.

In Christ's Love and Grace
Johnny
