James 1:12 Temptation- you can endure

Good morning everyone! God is good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!

America - did you know that on this date in 1607 an expedition of English colonists went ashore at Cape Henry, Va., to establish the first permanent English settlement in the Western Hemisphere? (They later settled at Jamestown.) How simple a life, but courageous a step for these people.

Yesterday we talked about the butterfly and its development. Our Christian development is much the same way. We need to go through the steps, salvation, study, and spread the word. Sometimes we get the salvation, Jesus Christ is our LORD and Saviour. Then we study and we gain the "head knowledge." We know in our head, but do we take it to heart and SPREAD THE GOOD NEWS OF JESUS?

JAMES 1:12 "Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the LORD hath promised to them that love him."

It is easy to get caught up in the hurry hurry material world. Here are a couple of pieces of advice from an old farmer:
Your fences need to be horse-high, pig-tight and bull-strong.
Keep skunks and bankers at a distance.
Life is simpler when you plow around the stump.
Forgive your enemies; it messes up their heads.
