The Eagle

Good morning! God is good all the time, all the time God is good!

Deuteronomy 32:11-12 "As an eagle stirs up its nest, Hovers over its young, spreading out its wings, taking them up, carrying them on its wings, so the LORD alone led him, and there was no foreign god with him."
The ideas of strength and protection, both inherent in the image of an eagle's wings, are combined in Deut. 32:11. The eagle displays strength and subtlety in the way it stays aloft in the wind. Secondly, wings were a traditional symbol of protection and refuge. Ancient Egyptian sculptures often have the wings of a falcon protecting a ruler or prince.

v 12 - the LORD alone guided them and they did not follow other gods.

Where is your strength? Where is your protection? Who do you follow? Or, as they say today, "who's your daddy?" A great answer is GOD!!!

In Christ's Love and Grace
Johnny
