Good morning everyone!! Another great day to be alive in the LORD JESUS CHRIST!! Our pastor had a great sermon on WORRY yesterday. It would be good for all to hear. God is good all the time all the time God is good.

Revelation 2:17 "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it."

The "manna that has been hidden away in heaven" suggest the spiritual nourishment that the faithful believers will receive. As the Israelites traveled toward the Promised Land. God provided manna from heaven for their physical nourishment. Jesus, as the bread of life provides spiritual nourishment that satisfies our deepest hunger.

White sonte - When an athlete won in the games, he was often given as part of his prize a white stone, which was an admission pass to the winner's celebration afterwards. This may depict the moment when the overcomer will receive his ticket to the eternal victory celebration in heaven.

Also, the stones are important because each will bear the new name of every person who truly believes in Christ. They are the evidenve that a person has been accepted by God and declared worthy to receive eternal life. A person's name represented his or her character. God will give us a new name and a new heart.

Are you ready? Does God have your stone with your new name for your new life? If so, REJOICE!!! If not, what are you waiting for? Now is the time? Just ask God to accept you, that you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, that He died for your sins. Take it!!! It, salvation, is free - Jesus has paid it all! Love you all.
