I AM SORRY - 3 words

Good morning everyone!! What a wonderful day to be alive in Jesus!!! God is good, all the time, all the time, God is good!! Let's talk briefly about something all of us fight daily - pride!
Proverbs 13:10 "Pride leads to conflict, those who take advice are wise."
"I was wrong" or "I need advice" are difficult phrases to say because they require humility. Pride is an ingredient in every quarrel. It stirs up conflict and divides people. Humility, by contrast, heals. Guard against pride. If you find yourself constantly arguing, examine your life for pride. Be open to the advice of others, ask for help when you need it, and be willing to admist your mistakes.
Wow!! A tall order, however, remaining solid on Jesus as our foundation it will become a reality. How many times do friendships, relationships, or work relations go askew simply because the people involved will not say, "I am sorry" or as they generation today says, "My bad."
Have a great, humble day with Jesus! Tell someone about Jesus today! Thank you for reading. Love you all!

What does Jesus say about Prayer?????

Good morning all! Yes, God is good all the time, all the time God is
good!!! Do you pray with sweet, slick, smooth words, or just words
straight from the heart?? What does Jesus say about prayer???? Let's
look at Luke 18:9-14.
"Then Jesus told this story to some who had great confidence in their
own righteousness and scorned everyone else; (10) Two men went to the
Temple to pray. One was a Pharisee, and the other was a despised tax
collector. (11) The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed this prayer:
'I thank you, God, that I am not a sinner like everyone else. For I
don't cheat, I don't sin, and I don't commit adultery. I'm certainly
not like that tax collector! (12)I fast twice a week, and I give you a
tenth of my income.'
(13) But the tax collector stood at a distanace and dared not even
lift his eyesto heaven as he prayed. Instead, he beat his chest in
sorrow, saying, 'O God, be merciful to me,for I am a sinner.' (14) I
tell you, this sinner, not the Pharisee, returned home justified
before God. For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those
who humble themselves will be exalted.'"
What is the difference? The Pharisee did not go to the Temple to pray
to God, but to announce to all within hearing distance how good he
was. The tax collector went recognizing his sin and begging for
mercy.
Self-righteousness is dangerous. It leads to pride, causes a person
to despise others, and prevents him or her from learning anything from
God.
The tax collector's prayer should be our prayer because we all need
God's mercy every day. Don't let pride in our achievements cut you
off from God.
So, are you going to raise your hands to heaven and say oh Lord, here
I am, look how great?? OR.....are you going to beat your chest and
in sorrow say here I am a sinner, please forgive me???? The choice
is yours!!!! DO THE RIGHT THING!!! Thanks for reading. Love you all.

Envy????? Prideful?????

Good morning everyone! I hope this is a great day in the Lord for you. God is good all the time and all the time God is good. Many people need prayers today, please pray for each person on this email, and pray for yourself. If we are in proper standing with God, then His likeness will radiate from us.
Many times we forget Jesus and instead of carrying Him in our heart, we leave Him at the house, in our wallet (sitting on the spirit), or we just let our old self take over. When we do, pride and envy like to take over, and this is good says satan. Then we are working for self and not for Jesus. We need to shake this off and walk the walk, talk the talk, of who?? Yes, JESUS!!
James 3:14-18 "But if you have bitter envy and self seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. (15) This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. (16) For where envy and self seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. (17)But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. (18) Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace."
So, once again, "WHAT'S IS YOUR HEART?" You self evaluate, you determine, if you don't like the answer.....STOP, DROP & PRAY!!!!
THANK YOU FOR READING! LOVE EACH OF YOU! MAY THE LORD BLESS YOUR DAY!! And as a p.s. Texas schools are state testing today, please pray for the students and the teachers.
