John 13:15 The example Christ gave

Good morning everyone! God is good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!

JOHN 13:15 Jesus said, "I have given you an example to follow. Do as I have done to you."

Please take a moment to reflect on this, the words of Jesus Christ, our LORD and Saviour. I have given you an example to follow and what? Do as I have done to you.
Wow!

Okay, think about this and then think about the actions you or other Christians have done.

The man pulling out of the liquor store with a sign on the back in shoe polish: "Follow me to vacation Bible school."

The person with the emblem of the fish on the trunk that cuts you off in traffic and then holds his hand high telling you that you are number "1"?

The person with a "Love one another bumber sticker" on the bumper honking for people to go, to move faster at a stoplight.

The person who has an "I attend church at ________." And is being rude and obnoxious in traffic.

Do you see yourself displaying a Christian sign and acting unChristian? Are you the example you should be? Is your example a good Bible for people to read? Where are you today in being the example Christ demonstrated we should emulate? Food for thought. Feedback please. Love you all.

1 Corinthians 3:16-17 Let us unify!

Good morning everyone! God is good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!

Did you think about it from yesterday? Will all your work go up in flames, or will it survive the fire? We also all need to realize what Paul is telling the Corinthians. We are to be a unified assembly. Bah hum bug on being Methodist, Baptist, Catholic, Presbyterian, Episcopal, Assembly, and on and on.

1 Corinthians 3:16-17 "Don't you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you? God will destroy anyone who destroys this temple. For God's temple is holy and you are that temple."

We are not to see ourselves as a collection of competing interests or independent individuals. Paul was emphasizing the intent of Jesus' prayer in John 17:21-23; Jesus prayed that we would all be one, unified. Jesus wants us to be one as He is with the Father.

What can you do to strengthen your ties to fellow Christians in the church of Jesus Christ? What can you do to be unified with God, the church, and Christians of different faiths? Let us unify and be one for the strength and power of God. Love you all.

1 Corinthians 3:11-15 Is this your foundation?

Good morning everyone! God is good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!

Who are you? What is your purpose in life? How significant are you - really? Do you - Are you - Can you make a difference for Christ?

These thoughts permeated my mind this morning as I was spending time with God. Who am I, really?? What possible difference can I, do I make?

When the final judgment comes will my name be in the Book of Life? When standing at the Bema seat what will my rewards be? What is the bema seat? The concept of the Bema Seat comes from the ancient Olympics, where a judge would sit on the Bema Seat at the finish line. The judge's purpose was to determine what position the runners came in-first, second, and so on-and then to give out the appropriate rewards. That is the imagery behind what is known as the Bema Seat.

1 Corinthians 3:11-15 "for no one can lay any foundation other than the one we already have - Jesus Christ. Anyone who builds on that foundation may use a variety of materials-gold, silver, jewels, wood, hay, or straw. But on the judgment day, fire will reveal what kind of work each builder has done. The fire will show if a person's work has any value. If the work survives, that builder will receive a reward. But if the work is burned up, the builder will suffer great loss. The builder will be saved, but like someone barely escaping through a wall of flames."

What does all this mean? How significant are you? Do you reach out, touch peoples lives in the name of Jesus Christ? The work you do, is it like the three little pigs, of which 2 built inferior houses, but the one who labored was protected and able to protect the other 2.

If your work for Christ can be destroyed by fire, you are still saved, but have not done all you can for the Kingdom of God. We will be rewarded for our faithful work. The unfaithful or inferior work will be discounted. All of us together are the unified temple of God. Take time, daily, to see what God wants you to do; follow His guidance; then reap the rewards of being a faithful follower of Christ.

We should not work for our rewards, but for the kingdom of God. The work we do should be significant and help others see the truth, the way and the light. JESUS CHRIST! Love you all.

Worry, the dark room where.......

Good morning everyone! God is good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!

Did you stop, look around, and see how amazing God is yesterday? Or the day before? Or today? God's creation - sharks don't sleep they swim constantly; birds of the air, animals of the ground, fishes of the sea are constantly alert, moving, and looking for something to eat. How blessed we are. God gave this all to us.

We have clothing, a place to call home, a place to purchase items to meet our needs. We are blessed, we are children of the King of kings.

Psalm 9:1,2 "I will praise you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done. I will be filled with joy because of you. I will sing praises to your name, O Most High."

Psalm 25:1-3 "O LORD, I give my life to you. I trust in you, my God! Do not let me be disgraced or let my enemies rejoice in my defeat. No on who trust in you will ever be disgraced, but disgrace come to those who try to deceive others."

Praise God, don't worry about your enemies - God will handle them. A church sign quote: "Worry is the dark room where negatives are developed." Go today and be filled with the joy of the LORD, sing praise (if only in your head) sing praises. Love you all.

Habakkuk 1:5 How amazing is God?

Hello everyone! Running late today. Just took a break from work to do this. God is good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!

Part of worshiping God is standing in awe of Him. Worship happens when you encounter God and realize that He is more amazing than the human mind could ever fully comprehend.

Today, invite God to amaze you with His presence. Allow Him to astound your soul. Open your heart to Him - you would not believe what he want to show you.

Habakkuk 1:5 KJV "Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvellously: for I will work a work in your days, which ye will not believe, though it be told you."

Life Application Study Bible. Habakkuk 1:5 "The LORD replied, "Look around at the nations; look and be amazed! For I am doing something in your own day, something you wouldn't believe even if someone told you about it."

What is God wanting to show you? Let me know. Love you all.

Do we needto follow the law?

Good morning everyone! God is good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!!

If we accept Christ, then why worry about the 10 commandments? The law is dead, right? So, as long as I believe in Jesus I am okay - no problems! The law is old testament days, written by old men, and does not apply to me today. Huh??

Where do you get this idea? Well, in Galatians 2:16 it says a person is made right with God by faith in Jesus Christ, not by obeying the law....

Oh, but wait. Paul is not saying the law is bad, because in another letter he wrote, "The law itself is holy, and its commands are holy and right and good" (Romans 7:12). What Paul is saying is that the law can never make us acceptable to God. The law still has an important role to play in the life of a Christian. The law (1) guards us from sin by giving us standards for behavior; (2) convicts us of sin, leaving us the opportunity to ask for God's forgiveness; (3) drives us to trust in the sufficiency of Christ, because we can never keep the Ten Commandments perfectly.

Once we become Christians we are forgiven, but the law is there to guide us and help us to live as God requires.

Galatians 3:1 False Gods?

Good morning everyone! God is good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!

We have talked about being hypocritical in our walk. Some times we are not hypocritical against one another but against God. What do you mean by that? Well, sometimes we do our "CHURCHY" things on Sunday and then follow other things, aka false gods during the week. Huh?

Galatians 3:1 "Oh, foolish Galatians! Who has cast an evil spell on you? For the meaning of Jesus Christ's death was made as clear to you as if you had seen a picture of his death on the cross."

The Galatian believers had become fascinated by the false teachers' arguments, almost as though an evil spell had been cast on them. What? I would never follow a false teacher! Oh, well, when studying the Bible, how many times do we take a verse or verses and say, "what that really means is" and twist it our way to meet our needs? Have you done this? Oh, I have, and I have to ask forgiveness for doing so.

Magic was common in Paul's day (Acts 8:9-11; 13:6,7) Magicians used both optical illusions and satan's power to perform miracles, and people were drawn into the magicians' mysterious rites without recognizing their dangerous source.

Oh, but I would never do that! Have you, or do you read your horoscope each day to see how your day goes? There are Christians that do. Check your Bible and see what is said about this. Would it not be better to pray and trust in the LORD each day than run to the paper, computer, phone, or wherever to see your horoscope?

Be ware my friend. Let your walk to one that is exemplary of the Bible. Remember, you may be the only Bible some people read today, tomorrow, or each day. Non-Christians may be watching you. Do a 100 things good, no one notices-do 1 thing bad and everybody knows. Love you all. Walk the Jesus walk today. Now it is prayer time.

Galatians 2:14 Face to face? Huh, me?

Good morning everyone! God is good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!

Things happen, innocently or intentionally, but things do happen. Yesterday, entitled hypocrite, comes to mind that is probably you, me, and others. What did Paul do?

Galatians 2:14 "When I saw that they were not following the truth of the gospel message, I said to Peter in front of all the others, 'Since you, a Jew by birth, have discarded the Jewish laws and are living like a Gentile, why are you now trying to make these Gentiles follow the Jewish traditions?'"

When Paul observed or heard of a wrong he confronted Peter. Paul saw that Peter, the leader of the church, was acting like a hypocrite. He knew better, yet he was driven by fear of what James and the others would think. Do you do this? Act differently because you are afraid of what people will think? If you are doing God's work, following God's will - then WHY?

Proverbs 29:25 "Fearing people is a dangerous trap."

Peter knew he had to confront Peter before his actions damaged the church. So, Paul publicly opposed Peter. Please note that Paul did not go to the other leaders, nor did he write letters to the churches telling them not to follow Peter's example.
Instead, he opposed Peter face to face. Sometimes sincere Christians, even Christian leaders, make mistakes. It may take other sincere Christians to get them back on track. If you are convinced that someone is doing harm to himself/herself or the church, try the direct approach. There is no place for backstabbing in the body of Christ.

Think about this in your Christian walk, your work walk, your family walk; do you face a person doing wrong face to face or do you go around telling others and causing damage? It is up to you - let the Spirit lead? Or, let your hypocritical side lead? Oh, LORD, please let me be strong and go face to face in Christian love to correct a wrong that either I or they have done. Thank you Jesus.

Galatians 2:11-13 Hypocrite

Good morning everyone! God is good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!!

What are you doing? Are you trying to please everyone? You don't like the heat, the criticism? Trying to be everything to everyone? HYPOCRITE!

Galatians 2:11-13 "But when Peter came to Antioch, I had to oppose him to his face, for what he did was very wrong. When he first arrived, he ate with the Gentile Christians, who were not circumcised. But afterward, when some friends of James came, Peter wouldn't eat with the Gentiles anymore. He was afraid of criticism from these people who insisted on the necessity of circumcision. As a result, other Jewish Christians followed Peter's hypocrisy, and even Barnabas was led astray by their hypocrisy."

Paul was confronting Peter, and here I confront you, and wish you to do the same to me and anyone else who walks in hypocrisy. Does the old self, the Christless self shine through some days? Most days? Everyday except Sunday morning?

I do what I need to do with the group I am associating with so I will be accepted and considered "one of them." Do I really want to be "one of them?" My answer should be I will be a Christian at all costs; but is it? Is that really my answer? Would that be your answer?

Satan counts on us falling from the table of grace and sliding into our old ways. Yes, we are in a battle and must be constantly aware. Stay alert, put on the full armour of God. Don't put on just what you think you need. Why not? Because that leaves you vulnerable, you have a weak spot and satan will attack you there.

I ask you now to throw off the cape of hypocrisy and clothe yourself in righteousness through Jesus Christ. When the rest say, Oh, _____, I missed my putt; or that car cut me off; or whatever - do you say something caused that to happen, think Godly thoughts and go on? Try it. Go out there and win this war! Love you all.

Psalm 139: 7, 9-10 Where is God?

Good morning everyone! God is good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!

The song where ever you go I go, where ever you go I will follow. Well, God does not go anywhere........HE is already there!!

Psalm 139:9-10 "If I flew away beyond the east or lived in the farthest place in the west, you would be there to lead me, you would be there to help me."

God is there.....NOW.....just waiting for you to follow. Do you need to go east or west?

Psalm 139:7 "Where could I go from Your Spirit? Or where could I flee from your presence?"

It won't happen. We cannot flee from God. HE is already there. Will I feel far from God. Yes, many times, but this is not God's choosing----IT IS YOURS! You are the one who decided to distance yourself from God. Why do you or why would you feel far from God?

It is in your daily walk. Have you prayed today? What in heaven's name have you done today? Anything?!? Nothing?!? Well, you can't start any earlier. Let's go. Let's begin with prayer and asking forgiveness first. Then cast all your needs on the water....they will return to you, once God has taken care of them, and will not be nearly as serious as you once perceived.

Perceived? Do you see this word? Perceive? This is what affects our relationship with God and others - our perception! If I perceive God at a distance--I am the one who made the distance. Just open your arms, welcome God, and let God RULE!

Let the Holy Spirit lead

Ready to fight evil;

Good morning everyone! God is good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!

A great day to be alive in the LORD JESUS CHRIST! Do you feel like you are in the Army of God? Or do you feel like you just go on Sunday morning, hear the preacher, and then you are good for the week?

Today I am just urging you, from my position, no scripture, to go forth, with the armour of God, and fight evil.

Christianity IS NOT A SPECTATOR SPORT! Christianity is alive, well, and you, as a Christian need to quit whining about things, quit attending 1 service a week, and go out and LIVE YOUR CHRISTIAN LIFE as JESUS WOULD LIVE.

Today, this weekend, begin a new crusade. Tell someone about God, Jesus, Holy Spirit. Tell someone how to be a Christian (do you know?). Start walking the walk. Jesus talked the talk and walked the walk. He laid His life down for you. What have you done for Him?

You may be the only Bible someone reads today, tomorrow, in their life; are you a great Christian story? Take up your arms, today, let's go and defeat evil. The first weapon to start with is prayer, just pray the Holy Spirit leads you and then enjoy the opportunities that will open up. You will be amazed. Let's all begin with a prayer. Lord, please forgive us our shortcomings, our sins, known and unknown, and let us be a guiding light unto others that they may see you are the truth, the way, and the light we must follow. Let our words be Christ like and let our hatred be against evil not against the sinner. Let us love and be loved. We just praise your name for leading us. Amen. Thanks for reading today.

Psalm 6:9 The LORD has heard

Good morning everyone! God is good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!

Yesterday we talked about discernment. Not judging, but to be led by the Spirit to carry the word unto others. When you are preparing to go into battle, i.e. face the world of evil; do not forget to begin with prayer.

Psalm 6:9 "The LORD has heard my cry for help; the LORD will answer my prayer."

God hears you and is preparing an answer. Sometimes the silence in listening to the LORD may be deafening, but keep heart. The first moment you prayed God heard you. Just because there is no visible evidence immediately of His work does not mean he is ignoring you or rejected your request.

God took your plea to heart and is working diligently to provide what you need. Today, listen to the silence, watch for evidence; God is answering your prayer. You know what, think of this from Daniel when you pray.

Daniel 10:12 "Don't be afraid! God has listened to your prayers since the first day you humbly asked for understanding, and He has sent me."

Matthew 7:6 Discernment - do you have it?

Good morning everyone! God is good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!

What does Jesus say about talking to the unholy?

Matthew 7:6 "Don't waste what is holy on people who are unholy. Don't throw your pearls to pigs! They will trample the pearls, then turn and attack you."

Pigs were unclean animals according to God's law in Deuteronomy 14:8. Anyone who touched an unclean animal became ceremonially unclean and could not go to the Temple to worship until the uncleanness was removed. Jesus says that we should not entrust holy teachings to unholy or unclean people.

It is futile to try to teach holy concepts to people who don't want to listen and will only tear apart what we say. We should not stop giving God's Word to unbelievers, but we should be wise and discerning in our witnessing, so that we will not be wasting our time.

So, what are you saying? Yesterday you said we are at war with the devil and today don't waste our time?!? No, not at all. We are at war, we should go to others, but we need to be armed. Put on your GPS - God Positioning System first: the Holy Spirit. Let God put you in the position and let the Holy Spirit lead you. Are you casting pearls to swine? No, not with the Spirit leading, you may be turning swine into pearls, leading them away from the unclean (evil) life to the clean (godly) life.

Go forth my friend, let judgment day be the day you are rewarded for your faith and staying the course. Love you all.

John 8:31,32 Be faithful, be a disciple

Good morning everyone! God is good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!

Ladies and Gentlemen, we are at war. Have you not seen the seriousness of the situation as of yet? The devil is on the move and we are comfortable just being in our little house, with our little family, going to our little job, and living in our comfortable little world. Wake up America!

John 8:31-32 "Jesus said to the people who believed in him, 'You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.'"

Jesus himself if the truth that set us free; He is the source of truth, the perfect standard of what is right. He frees us from continued slavery to sin - to the evil side. Frees us from self-deception and deception from satan.

Jesus shows us clearly the way to eternal life with God. Jesus does not give us freedom to do what we want, but freedom to follow God. As we seek to serve God, Jesus' perfect truth frees us to be all that God meant us to be.

So shake off, no, shatter the chains of evil that are holding you back. Tell someone about Jesus today; invite someone to church. Be ware, the stronger you fight for Jesus the stronger satan sends forces against you. Just utter the name JESUS, for demons shutter, screech, and flee from just His name, J E S U S ! Love you all.

Mark 11:22-25 Prayer! Praying!

Good morning everyone! God is good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!

PRAYER. PRAYER! What is right or wrong with our prayers? Jesus gave His disciples an example of prayer that we should use today. Do we? In that prayer 2 large items pop out at me, no 3. First, forgiveness- ask forgiveness for yourself and forgive any one you may have a grudge against. Next have faith in God - believe in God and the prayer will be answered. And the last is one I struggle with FOCUS! Focus on God and my praying. When I pray little things will come into my mind and then my prayer will either be broken or distracted. These are great tools for satan as he does not want us to pray or even say the name of JESUS. I pray outloud to help me focus and talk straight to God.

Mark 11:22-25 "Then Jesus said to the disciples, "Have faith in God. I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea, and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart. I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you've received it, it will be yours. But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in Heaven will forgive yours sins too.""

Again, to recap: God will answer prayers but, 1, you must be a believer; 2 you must not hold a grudge against another person; 3, you must not pray with selfish motives; and 4 your request must be for the good of God's Kingdom.

Matthew 26:39 ".........Yet I want your will to be done not mine."

This is what Jesus said to God. It takes firm trust in God's plans; it takes prayer and obedience each step of the way to be able to say this. Do you have it? If not, how are you going to get it? Love you all.

Ephesians 5:10-14 Don't be silent

Good morning everyone! God is good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!

Did you stand up for Jesus yesterday? Did you declare war on evil?

Ephesians 5:10-14 "Carefully determine what pleases the LORD. Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; instead, expose them. It is shameful even to talk about the things that ungodly people do in secret. But their evil intentions will be exposed when the light shines on them, for the light makes everything visible. This is why it is said, "Awake, O sleeper, rise up from the dead, and Christ will give you light.""

Any pleasure or activity that results in sin are worthless deeds of evil and darkness. It is important for us to avoid this. Paul instructs us to expose these deeds, because our silence may be interpreted as approval. God needs people who will take a stand for what is right. Christians must lovingly and boldly speak out for what is true and right.

Paul is encouraging us to wake up, rise up from where you are and let Christ be your beacon to guide you. Where are you today? Love you all.

Matthew 25:46 Eternity- where will you be?

Good morning everyone! God is good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!

Well?????? Have you fought evil? Did you stand up for God yesterday? Did you mention God or Jesus to anyone? Did you invite someone to your church?

It is not difficult. If you don't say something, the world, i.e. evil will grab them quickly. When I sold mobile homes our GM always said if you don't sell them, there is someone down the street who will. Ask for the order!

If you don't invite them into the body of believers; then the world of evil will invite them in. What is the world of evil? Look around in awareness. You will find evil everywhere; don't fellowship with other believers because......... Why? Part of our duty is obedience. Just like tithing; does God need it? NO! But, it is an act of obedience.

Would you consider telling someone to "go to hell" when you leave them? If you don't share the word of salvation with them---then you just did. Think about that!!

Matthew 25:46 "And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous will go into eternal life."

Eternal punishment takes place in hell, the lake of fire, or Gehenna, the place of punishment after death for all those who refuse to repent.

In Hebrew 3 words were used in connection with eternal punishment.
(1) Sheol, or "the grave," was used in the Hebrew Old Testament to mean the place of the dead, generally thought to be under the earth.
(2) Hades is the Greek word for the underworld, the realm of the dead. It is the word used in the New Testament for Sheol.
(3) Gehenna, or hell, was named after the valley of Ben-Hinnom near Jerusalem, where children were sacrificed by fire to the pagan gods. This is the place of eternal fire prepared for the devil, his angels, and all those who do not believe in God.
When Jesus warns against unbelief, he is trying to save us from agonizing, eternal punishment. Who will you warn today? Love you all.

For God's sake, what are you doing!?!? Ephesians 6:12

Good morning everyone! God is good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!

Well? Do you have evil? Did you fight evil yesterday? Just what in God's name did you do yesterday? Many will answer with: "oh, I meant too, but......" The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

If you don't do anything else - P R A Y ! You can do this driving, sitting, in the bathroom, on the couch, anywhere - at least you would be talking to God and making the demons of hell quiver.

Ephesians 6:12 "For we are not fighting against flesh and blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places."

If they are not flesh and blood, then they are demons that satan has won over and has control over.
THEY ARE REAL, not fantasies. Satan's goal is to defeat the church with his powerful army.

If you believe in Christ, then these demons ARE YOUR ENEMIES! Satan thinks he can win and is constantly battling all that are in Christ. If you do nothing, then you are working for satan.

Be hot for God. If you are not hot for God then you are cold or lukewarm. Do not be discouraged for as Christ told Peter in Matthew 16:18 "Upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it."

Prayer, Bible study, fellowship, praising Jesus, God, the Holy Spirit puts satan and his demons in a tail-spin. They HATE it and YOU. And they will work at all costs to bring you down. If you say you hate evil and do nothing - then you embrace evil. Quit sitting ON THE SPIRIT and being living IN THE SPIRIT. Do something, for God's sake, do something. Love you all.

Psalm 45:7 Do you hate? God does!

Good monrning everyone! God is good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!

Did Jesus hate?
Does God hate?
Do you hate?

The answers are simple - YES or NO! Do you hate?

Did you know Jesus hates? Did you know God hate? WHAT!?!? You are crazy.

Psalm 45:7 "Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hat anointed thee with the oil of gladness above they fellows."

Hebrews 1:9 "Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hat anointed thee with the oil of gladness above they fellows."

Life application Bible both verses: "You love justice and hate evil. therefore God, your God, has anointed you, pouring out the oil of joy on you more than on anyone else."

The LORD JESUS is not neutral on the question of right or wrong. God will not commit rule and authority to one who will not rule righteously.

The Messiah, Jesus Christ, was anointed by God Himself, and the anointing intended is that of Christ's exaltation over all others. This exaltation followed His voluntary humiliation and condescension.

Christ hates evil. God hates evil. DO YOU??? We don't hate the person; we hate the evil that is being done. How much do you hate evil? Enough to follow God strictly? Or a little nudity, a little use of bad language, a little obscene language or actions is just human nature and okay. Is it? Really?

Just a little, very small piece of manure in your drink won't hurt! Will you still drink it? If not, then why do we accept what the world offers as being OK? Today is the day to take a stand and HATE EVIL, not the person. PRAY FOR THE PERSON! Love you all.

Ecclesiastes 8:9,10 Wicked or...........

Good morning all! God is good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!

Back to Ecclesiastes. When I left off, verses 7 & 8 we were talking about the war against death, of which we cannot win. Man is wicked and will not or cannot be rescued except by one means - Jesus! Let's go on to verses 9 & 10.

Ecclesiastes 8:9,10 "All this have I seen, and applied my work unto every work that is done under the sun: there is a time wherein one man ruleth over another to his own hurt. (10) And so I saw the wicked buried, who had come and gone from the place of the holy, and they were forgotten in the city where they had so done: this is also vanity."

Think about everything that goes on here on earth. People have power over one another and some use this to hurt others. Wicked, but powerful people, get buried with honor. They attend the church, a church of social standing, and once they die we forget their wickedness and all their evil deeds.

The wicked may go to the church or temple for show, we see them, know they are wicked, but how soon we forget. Just because you go to church does not make you a Christian; just like standing in a garage does not make you a car or standing in the middle of Cowboys football field does not make you a professional football player.

We don't judge, but we are to test the fruits of their labor. Did they produce figs or did they wither and produce only twigs? Where are you today? Standing in the church, arms upraised, reciting the correct words for all to hear? OR, are you standing in the Spirit, head lowered, praising and praying for God to hear? Love you all.
