What the.......HELL????????.......Uh.......

Good morning everyone!!! I trust this will be a wonderful day in the Lord Jesus Christ. God is good all the time and all the time God is good!!!! There is a man, Bill Weiss, who wrote a book entitled, "20 minutes of hell" and it is available now. His account is very interesting and in his interview he commented, as did the host, that too many times we don't hear about hell from the pulpit. Also, some, from the pulpit and some not in the pulpit do not believe in hell. After hearing this interview I queried this statement.
Then I started looking in my study Bible as compared to my King James. In my study Bible there are about 12 references to hell, then when I go to the scripture the commentary does not address hell. In the Strong's Exhaustive Concordance there are 54 references to hell. Are we becoming a watered down, feel good body of Christians???? There is not really hell, just heaven where we will have no pain and suffering? We are living in hell now??? Interesting thought and trend. Where do you stand???
As for me, I believe in hell!! I believe in heaven!!! WHY??? Because, that is what the word of God says..........Sooooo.....do you believe the Bible is the inspired word of God????? Wow!!! This is such a great topic. Where do you stand???? On hell???? In hell???? Give me some feed back and let's discuss this some more. Revelation 20:11-15 refers to the doom of the unbelieving dead, the last judgment. Please read it. vs 15 "And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."
Where is your name written??? Stop, Drop, and Pray!!! Don't you love Jesus??? Isn't God great???? Thank you for reading. Love you all.

Believing and hope!!!

Good morning everyone!! What a fabulous day to be alive in Jesus!! Jesus, Jesus, oh for grace to love Him more. Doesn't that come from a song????? You know: God is good all the time and all the time God is good!!!!
Okay, let's look at 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 "For our present troubles are small and won't last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweights them and will last forever! (18) So we don't look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever."
vs 17 - our troubles should not decrease our faith or cause us to stray. There is a purpose behind our suffering and there will be benefits to our suffering. First, remember Christ suffered for us; obstacles will keep our pride in check; we can see beyond physical life to eternal life; a chance to prove our faith to ourselves and others; and last, God may show his powers through us. We should see our troubles as great opportunities for the kingdom and glory of God.
vs 18 Our hope is not to see our current problems, but to realize that after this life.....THERE IS LIFE AFTER DEATH!!! Knowing that we will live forever with God in a place without sin and suffering should help us in our daily walk, no matter what we face.
Is God in control??? A resounding YES!!! Thank you Jesus, God, Holy Spirit for being in our lives!! WOW!!! How exciting is this. Please pray for yourself, let you be right in the sight of the Lord and all will be well. God takes care of those who take care of themselves.....uh....no... God takes care of His good and faithful servants. Stay strong. Stay the course. Stay humble. Stay in prayer. Thank you for reading. Love you all!!

Do you believe in the unseen??

Good morning all!!! What a great day to be alive in the Lord Jesus Christ! God is good all the time and all the time God is good. Yesterday I have an opportunity to meet a young lady (18) who has cervical cancer. Her name is Toie (pronounced Toy). Please pray for her and put her on your churches prayer list. Thank you. It was a great time to witness.
2 Corinthians 5:7 "For we live by believing and not by seeing." Some will tell you they don't believe, but we all believe. We don't have to see, we do see evidence of, but we may not see. Think about what you have now, a computer, I believe that when I hit send this message will come to you. Do I understand the complete binary system that does this? No! How do I know it will go? Because, I believe. Do we see Jesus? Do we see God? Do we see the Holy Spirit? We see evidence of: Jesus! God! Holy Spirit!!
How do people explain things? Coincidence....well...yeah...okay!!! Are there coincidences? We believe in lots: the light switch, the car key, the remote will work, the toilet will flush, the water will come on, and on and on. Then our belief comes true as we see evidence of. The light came on, the car started, t.v. came on, we watched the water go down, we were able to see the water.
God does so much more, if we stop and look, we can see evidence of God everywhere! Look at the sky, sun, stars, flowers, animals, people, etc. We didn't just come from the big bang theory!! Take time to stop, drop, pray, and thank God for being our one and true living GOD!! 2 Corinthians 4:18 "So we don't look at the troubles we can see now, rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever." Thank you for reading. Love you all.

Are you listening????!!!!!??????

Good morning everyone one!!! I hope this day is a wonderful day in the Lord for you! God is good, all the time; all the time, God is good!! WOW!! God blesses us, even when we don't think we need or deserve it. Sometimes when we are just sitting around thinking, we may wonder.... why doesn't God ever talk to me?!?
You know, I often felt like God did not talk to me. Other people would say God said this, God said that, and all the time I am wondering if God really talked to them or are they cracked; loose in the head; a couple of sandwiches short of a picnic. I didn't understand. Slowly, as I grow (slowly because of my learning curve, lol) I begin to understand, I listen to different preachers, my own from the pulpit, and others on Christian radio, and I realizeD the radio I was dialing in on was broke.
You can't tune in if the radio doesn't work. Soooo, I have tried very hard to be aware of when God talks to me. No, I don't hear an audible voice booming from the sky. I do, however, hear His voice through my thoughts, my sleep, just being aware that God will talk to me. The radio I am using now does work. It is important, too, tha I pray the Holy Spirit leads me in what I say and do.
Mark 4:24 "And he (Jesus) said unto them, 'TAKE HEED WHAT YE HEAR: WITH WHAT MEASURE YE METE, IT SHALL BE MEASURED TO YOU: AND UNTO YOU THAT HEAR SHALL MORE BE GIVEN.'"
May the Holy Spirit lead you today, and I pray that you will be available to God's word as He speaks to you. Please pray for yourself first, and then everyone on this list. Pray for our nation and its leaders. JESUS IS RETURNING.......only God knows when.....stay alert..be prepared! Love you all.

The 11th Commandment

Good morning everyone!! I hope this is a wonderful day for you all!! God is good all the time and all the time God is good!!!! It don't get no bett'r dan dis!!!!! When we leave earth, we see JESUS!!! WOW!!! BIG WOW!!!
Hey, do you know the commandments? If you don't remember look at Exodus 20:3-17. You remember: no other God; no idol; don't misuse Lord's name; keep sabbath holy; honor your father/mother; don't murder' no adultery; don't steal; no false witness; no coveting. Well, in John 13:34 Jesus gave us a new commandment."SO NOW I AM GIVING YOU A NEW COMMANDMENT: LOVE EACH OTHER. JUST AS I HAVE LOVED YOU, YOU SHOULD LOVE EACH OTHER."
Jesus is telling us that our Christlike love will show we are his disciples. Love is more than simply warm feelings; it is an attitude that shows up in actions!! How can we possible love others as Jesus loves us as His love is pure? By helping others, even though it is not in your plans or convenient for you. Give, even when it hurts, listen to others who are hurting and take on some of their hurt; don't complain or fight.
This is tough to do, but if you will do it people will notice. Let the supernatural, GOD, lead you in your quest to show TRUE LOVE. As my daughter told me the other day......do a random act of kindness (love): carry a package to the car for someone; open the door; pay for someone's lunch; share a smile and kind word. A beautiful love letter is I Corinthians 13. Thanks for reading with me today. May your day be blessed. Bless someone today!! Love you all!!!

No FEAR.....just BELIEVE

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!!! WHAT A GREAT DAY TO BE ALIVE IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST!!! Many things happen in our lives, but you just have to believe! Oh, yeah, believe in what???? First, your salvation, and then that Jesus does hear you, and then in prayer. What is prayer?? Prayer is simply visiting with your Father God, also, prayer is a petition to your Father for your needs.....not wants.....but needs!!
We should not walk in fear because God is with us!! When fear starts to set in.....STOP, DROP, & PRAY!!! Mark 5:36 "Do not be afraid; only believe."
A man was desperate, no where to go, his little girl was dying, everyone had given up hope......his family, the medical staff, everyone!!! All looked hopeless......nothing.....no, nothing could help. The man made one of the most important decisions of his life. He fell to his knees, went straight to JESUS......he cast everything at the feet of JESUS!!
Well, now you know the rest of the story.....Jesus healed the little girl. God can do wondrous things in each of our situations. What do we have to do??? 1-believe and have faith; 2-trust Jesus (give it ALL to Jesus); 3-again, believe, do not fear.
Our Father in Heaven can do anything.....ANYTHING!!!! Take time to pray. Several prayer requests have come in God knows...please prayer for healing!!! Thank you for reading. Love you all!!

Put you JESUS on!!!!!!

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!!!! What a wonderful day to be alive in Jesus!! Let us rejoice and be glad!!! Say, those could be songs!! lol I hope you wake with the attitude that you are "going to put your JESUS on."
What do you mean put my JESUS on??? 2 Corinthians 6:3 "We live in such a way that no one will stumble because of us, and no one will find fault with our ministry."
In all that he did, Paul always considered what his actions communicated about Jesus Christ. If we are believers then we are ministers for God. Non believers observe us, AND wait for us to do something so the response can be "if that is being a Christian, I don't want to be one."
Don't let our careless or undisciplined actions be someones excuse for not accepting Jesus Christ. Put your Jesus on, this means be loving, considerate, kind, and enjoy being alive. Tell someone you hope they have a blessed day. Share a smile, do a random act of kindness. REJOICE!!!! You are a child of THE LIVING GOD!!!! Stop, drop, and pray.....for this is the way you communicate with your Father God, and HE IS ALWAYS DELIGHTED TO HEAR FROM YOU.
THANK YOU FOR READING. LOVE YOU ALL!!

Random Act of Kindness!!!

Good morning everyone!!! I trust you will be blessed today!!! Look for the blessings and you will find them. As from yesterday, count your blessings, take time and see what blessings you really do have.
People have problems going on all the time. Take time to share, to be kind. 2 Timothy 2:24 "A servant of the Lord must not quarrel but must be kind to everyone, be able to teach, and be patient with difficult people."
Let today be: "A RANDOM ACT OF KINDNESS" day!!
Smile (share a smile, it's free)
Speak pleasantly
Help someone one
Pay for someone's lunch (anonymously)
Open a door for someone
Tell someone something nice (I like your ???, You look nice, etc)
Look around when you drive, slow down, be pleasant.
So many people develope tunnell vision and can only see where they are going, focused only on a particular object. Share something, no matter how slight, a smile, and see their reaction. Usually it is pleasant.
Thank you for reading with me today. Love you all!! Here is a smile for you :), you are special to me!!!!

Count your blessings!!!!

Good morning to all you disciplines of Christ Jesus!! May you have grace and peace. What has happened and will happen in you life???? In the late 1800's a hymn written by Johnson Oatman Jr...."When upon Life's Billows" is a very encouraging hymn. However, we know it better as "Count your Blessings." If we take time to count our blessings, dwell on them, rather than on the dismal things, we will be happier and realize why we have life and what we are living for.
We just need to stop, be still, and see how God has touched you life each and every day, hour, moment. Many times we let the everyday items take over and forget who all we are and all we have belongs to.....GOD!!!
Try this today: Choose to smile more often; Recognize the little things in life that bring you joy; Be happy for others when good things happen to them; Expect to find the silver lining and the pot of gold; Be a positive-thinking person; Thank God for what He has done, and is doing in your life; Believe that God can turn any negative into a positive.
Take time today to do 1 little thing. Write or email a friend or family and thank them for being in your life; Help a family member or co-worker; Thank God for who you are, what you are, where you have been, and where you are going!!
Psalm 136:2 "Thank the God of all gods, his love never quits."
Psalm 50:1 "Offer to God thanksgiving, and pay your vows to the Most High?"
Thank you for reading. Thank you for being my friend. May you be blessed more today than ever before. Love you all.

How is your anger??????

Good morning everyone!!! May God bless you today, tomorrow, and forever. God is good all the time, all the time God is good!!!! Have you ever noticed people around, on t.v., just life in general, how people get upset? About what?? Many times it is just a little itty bitty item, but a person may explode or become extremely angry over what????? NOTHING!!!
Wife is angry because the husband didn't take the trash out; husband is angry because the wife didn't have dinner (supper) ready exactly when he wanted it. WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE??!?? If the trash goes out...good! If dinner is served later.....good! Don't we let foolish little things get in our way of not just good, but great relationships??? Sometimes it is appropriate to be angry, and Jesus when he confronted the moneychangers in the temple. But over trash, dinner, laundry, the car, the house, and on and on......WHY????
"DON'T LET YOUR SPIRIT RUSH TO BE ANGRY, FOR ANGER ABIDES IN THE HEART OF FOOLS." ECCLESIASTES 7:9 Now I ask you, are you a fool??? Becoming angry quickly or over foolish things?
Ephesians 4:26-27 "AND 'DON'T SIN BY LETTING ANGER CONTROL YOU.' DON'T LET THE SUN GO DOWN WHILE YOU ARE STILL ANGRY, FOR ANGER GIVE A FOOTHOLD TO THE DEVIL." The Bible does not tell us not to feel angry, but we should handle our anger properly. If we react quickly or thoughtlessly, anger can hurt others and destroy relationships. A thoughtless word can damage an otherwise good relationship.
If we bottle up the anger, it will fester, we will become bitter, and this is a wonderful opportunity for the devil to step in, divide us against each other. Paul tells us to deal with anger properly. Sit, talk, and be open with each other....without yelling or becoming loud and beligerent. Be under control. Thank you for reading. May your day be blessed by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. God's blessings are upon you, just accept them.
Love you all.

Who keeps promises?????

Good morning everyone!!! what a beautiful day to be alive in the Lord Jesus Christ!! God is good all the time, and all the time, GOD IS GOOD!! How great it is to be a child of God. Have you ever made a promise or promised someone something and then it did not come about??? Sure, probably have, I have. Who does not break promises??? Well, of course, GOD
2 Corinthians 1:19-20 "For Jesus Christ, the Son of God, does not waver between "Yes" and "No." He is the one whom Silas, Timothy, and I preached to you, and as God's ultimate "Yes," he always does what he says. (20) For all of God's promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding "Yes!" And through Christ, our "Amen" (which means "Yes") ascends to God for his glory."
Here Paul is telling the Corinthians of God's faithfulness. We should be encouraged knowing that God will never leave us or forsake us. God will give us the desires of our heart. Whatever the promise is, God will fulfill it. God does not break his word and it will be done.
God does not jocky between yes and no. Jesus Christ was the ultimate example of this. All of God's promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a loud, resounding "YES!" Because Jesus Christ is faithful, Paul, a messenger appointed by Jesus, would also be faithful in his ministry.
Are you faithful in your ministry? Are you promises sound? Do you follow through? We need to be as Paul, faithful in our ministry. Thank you for reading. Love you all!!! Be faithful today to the Lord Jesus Christ!! Begin with a prayer for yourself. I ask once again, pray between 6 & 7 as God knows the need.

Are you joyful in the Lord?????

Good morning all! What a wonderful day to be alive in the Lord Jesus Christ. God is good all the time and all the time God is good. Remember, STOP, DROP & PRAY!!!! Why should we be joyful all the time???? There are times I just don't feel good!! Times I don't want to be joyful!!! WHY? Because things have happened that upset me!!! SO!!!!!!! Look at Paul.
Philippians 4:4-5 "ALWAYS BE FULL OF JOY IN THE LORD, I SAY IT AGAIN-REJOICE! LET EVERYONE SEE THAT YOU ARE CONSIDERATE IN ALL YOU DO. REMEMBER THE LORD IS COMING SOON."
Now here is Paul, a man in prison, telling the church at Philippi to rejoice. Paul's attitude teaches us a very important lesson. Our inner attitudes do not have to reflect our outward circumstances. WHY??? Paul was full of joy because he knew that no matter what happened to him, Jesus Christ was with him. It is easy to get discouraged about the events that are happening in your life, or to take these events TOO SERIOUSLY!!
If you haven't been joyful lately, you may have your view of life from the wrong perspective. Take time to look from where Paul did, the inside, and rejoice for your name is written in the book of life. Thank you for reading. May God bless you far greater than you deserve. Pray for yourself first, then others. Love you all.

Who listens 24/7??? GOD!!!!

Good morning everyone!! I hope this is a great day in the Lord for you. God is good all the time, and all the time God is good. Remember, when you have questions.....STOP, DROP, & PRAY!!! I am asking that you all do this on Thursday, between 6 & 7, several things are happening at that time and prayer would be beneficial.
We do not always address prayer ENOUGH!!! We all have someone in our life who really enjoys this...GOD! Matthew 6:6 "Jesus said, 'When you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.'"
Mark 11:24 "Jesus said, 'I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them."
Romans 8:26 "The Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.'"
I Thessalonians 5:17 "Pray without ceasing."
Mother Teresa said, "The more you pray, the easier it becomes. The easier it becomes the more you will pray."
Prayer is BETTER than CELL PHONES!!! We never have a dropped call, we never have to say "can you hear me now?" Plus, since we all are either parents, have siblings, or aunts or uncles, it is nice to just sit and visit. I enjoy when my daughters come to me, visit, and sometimes I can help them with their needs. I love my daughters. My love is not the perfect love....GOD'S LOVE IS PERFECT!!! Can you imagine the greatness of His love??
God's love is so much greater than ours, and when we visit with our FATHER GOD, He is delighted. But, but, how do I pray?? God just does not want us to us ritual words which carry no meaning. He wants us to pray from our heart. Just talk to God what is bothering you. Talk openly and freely. I was at a church social in Colorado, and the man asked to pray said, "and thank you for this grub"; he was sincere and it came from the heart. Do you think God heard him? I think so!!!
Take time to talk to God whether it be for 5 minutes, 1/2 hour, in the shower, while driving, where ever. God loves you, HE wants to hear from you, take time for your FATHER.
Thank you for reading. Love you all. God loves to hear from you. I do also.

Where do you dwell????

Good morning everyone!!! What a beautiful day in the Lord Jesus Christ!! God is good all the time, and all the time God is good!!! Many things go around, things come, things go, God is the constant in our lives. HE is always here, with us. When Jesus returns, WE WILL KNOW IT!! Don't believe the things you hear such as Jesus might be alive and well in Houston. Diversions, Jose de Jesus claims to be the Messiah Jesus. If you want to read about it go to http://abcnews.go.com/Primetime/print?id=2925021 and you can read the story. Crazy!
Psalm 84:10-12 "For a day in they courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee."
Simply stated: better to live in God's courts 1 day, than a thousand without Him. Better to be the doorkeeper or gatekeeper in God's house than have the finest of every earthly thing while dwelling in the world of sin. God is our protector, He will not withhold anything we need, He gives us grace and glory. The people who walk or dwell in the house of the Lord are truly blessed.
Now, I ask you........of which house have you chosen to dwell? Are you enjoying the riches of the world???? Or are you enjoying the bounty blessings of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ? Thank you for reading today. Love you all.

Put your DAVID ON!!!!

Good morning everyone!!! What a great day to be alive in the Lord Jesus Christ. God is good all the time and all the time God is good. Are you faithful in the little things. When called upon, can you put your David on????
Put your DAVID on....what do you mean?? Take time to read I Samuel 17. David did what he was supposed to do.....tend the sheep. His brothers were in Saul's army. You know the story.....Goliath and the Philistines camped on one mountain, the Israelites camped on the other mountain, with a valley in between. So, this big guy comes out, challenges the Israelitesand defied God. What is DAVID doing???? Tending the sheep.
David is taking care of the tasks at hand, no matter how trite they may seem, he did what he was called to do. Then his father sent him to the army camp with supplies for his brothers. This is when David heard the big guy called Goliath. David took care of the little things, but when he heard this big guy challenge the Israelites he did not tremble..........BUT WHY??
David knew the living God, is and was on their side. Now David did not hesitate, talked to Saul, took five smooth stones. Remember, David has been faithful in all he was entrusted, tending sheep, supplies to his brothers, and David is a small, ruddy faced youth. Why would he think he could confront a giant of a man like this?????
Very simple, David was faithful in all the small tasks he was given, and he would be faithful in meeting this, one more task, and WHY????? Because DAVID had TOTAL FAITH IN A LIVING GOD!! Well you know the story, with only one stone. David came prepared to do the task at hand. But why 5 stones????
David was prepared, 1 stone for Goliath, and then 1 stone for each of Goliath's brothers. Goliath had 4 brothers and David was prepared. David took care of all the small details. Now I challenge you today, to go forth and PUT YOU DAVID ON!!!!! Take care of the tasks at hand, no matter how big or small, stay faithful and slay the giant in you life today.
Thank you for reading! A great example, David, in being faithful and true to OUR LIVING GOD!! Love you all. Pray for yourself and one another.

Are you a new wineskin?

Good morning everyone! what a wonderful day to be alive in the Lord Jesus Christ!!! Do you ever just stop and wonder???? No, I mean do you ever really stop and wonder??? Look at all the beauty!!! Look at how all things were put together!! We can only imagine!!! But not to fear, God is in control!!!
Are you, today, new wine......from the vine of Jesus Christ. OR, are you old wine, been around, came from A vine??? What is the deal with wine, wineskins, what is this?? In ancient days, they did not have glass containers in which to put their wine. Therefore, they put wine in wineskins. Now new wine would ferment and expand.....if the wine was placed in new wineskins, they would expand with the new wine. However, if they put new wine in OLD wineskins, as the wine fermented the skin could stretch no more and would burst.
Well, Jesus came to earth to offer all people forgiveness of sins and reconcilliation with God. The Good News did not fit into the old, very rigid, legalistic system of religion. (old wineskin) It needed a fresh start (new wineskin). The message of Jesus Christ was new, is new, and will be forever new until HE returns. As followers of Christ, we must be prepared for new ways to live, new ways to look at people, and new ways to serve.
Matthew 9:17 "AND NO ONE PUTS NEW WINE INTO OLD WINESKINS. FOR THE OLD SKINS WOULD BURST FROM THE PRESSURE, SPILLING THE WINE AND RUINING THE SKINS. NEW WINE IS STORED IN NEW WINESKINS SO THAT BOTH ARE PRESERVED."
So, are you the old wineskin with the new good news, OR are you new wineskin with the new good news???? I pray we are all new wine, that will ferment or grow, then spread the good news of Jesus Christ!! Thank you for reading. Love you all. Until tomorrow, be a new wineskin, expanding and growing.

How is your relationship??????

Good morning everyone!! Yes, tis a wonderful day in the Lord, Jesus Christ!! God is good all the time, all the time God is good!!! With a father like we have, what more could we ask for. Last weekend we had a Stephen Ministry Retreat, which was very good. Our training leader, Ben, brought a lot of good things to mind. A great book to read; "One Minute for Myself" by Dr. Spencer Johnson is very good.
Philippians 2:5 "You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had."Luke 12:16-21 "Then He (Jesus) told them a story: 'A rich man had a fertile farm that produced fine crops. He said to himself, What should I do? I don't have room for all my crops. Then he said, I know!! I'll tear down my barns and build bigger ones. Then I'll have room enough to store all my wheat and other goods. And i"ll sit back and say to myself, 'My friend you have enough stored away for years to come. Now take it easy! Eat, drink, and be merry! But God said to him, 'You fool! You will die this very night. Then who will get everything you worked for?' Yes, a person is a fool to store up earthly wealth but not have a rich relationship with God."
Our attitude is our choice. Don't set our expectations too high, be realistic, don't be greedy. Un healthy people make unhealthy companions!! Take 1 minute each day for yourself. Evaluate the relationship you have with yourself. Do you like you? Would you be your own best friend? Are you the type of friend you would want to welcome in your family? Who are you???? Can you look yourself in the eye and say I love you just as you are and I know Jesus loves you as you are?????
If you don't love yourself, it will probably be difficult for others to love you. Thank you for reading. Pray for yourself, then the people on this list, our community, state, nation and its leaders. Love you all.

What are you chasing??? OR, what is chasing you??

Good morning everyone!!! I hope this is a great day in the Lord for YOU!!!!God is good all the time, and all the time God is good!! Isn't it great to be a child of God!!!
Proverbs 13:21 "Trouble chases sinners, while blessings reward the righteous." Do you need what you are chasing?? Don't look where you don't want to go!!! If it is complicated, it is part of the problem, if it is simple it could be part of the solution. Uncomplicated lives result in happiness. Decrease stress by not aiming at what you don't need.
Proverbs 4:23-27 "Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life. Avoid all perverse talk; stay away from corrupt speech. Look straigt ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you. Mark out a straight path for your feet; stay on the safe path. Don't get sidetracked; keep your feet from following evil."
Our heart, feelings of love and desire, dictates to a great extent how we live because we always find time to do what we enjoy. Solomon tells us to guard our hearts, making sure we focus on those desires that will keep us on the right path. Make sure your affections lead you in the right direction, putting boundaries on your desires. Don't chase everything you see, put on blinders, as does the racehorse, looking straight ahead and being totally focused on your goal. Don't let detours of sin sidetrack you.
So what are you chasing or what is chasing you?? Thank you for reading with me today. I just pray that this will touch someone as by printing this I, it, is only an instrument used by God. May we all be an instrument of God today and touch someones life for Jesus!! Love you all.

What kind of egg are you????

Good morning everyone!! A great day to be alive in JESUS!!! Running a little late, went to bed late and slept in this morning (did not get up at 5 a.m.) Isn't God grand!! God does so much for us!!! Yesterday at church our guest speaker Dr. Miles McCall was great!! Topic was Life is a Crisis!
How true this is. Have you ever thought what kind of egg you are?? Have you ever just thought about an egg??? What a perfect packaging that is given us by "nature." Huh, no, no coincidence, God had these things planned. Ever been to an egg toss and one will miss their egg and it, what, hit the ground and didn't break! WOW!!! Some eggs are cracked, some are broken, but some are perfect!! That is what Jesus wants us to be... perfect!!!!
Matthew 5:48 Jesus says, "But you are to be perfecet, even as your Father in heaven is perfect." Wait, you say....only Jesus was perfect, so how can I be perfect?? 1. In Character: In this life we cannot be flawless, but we canset our goals to be as much like Christ as possible.
2. In holiness: as the Pharisees, we are to separate ourselves from the world's sinful values, and be devoted to God's desirees.
3.In maturity: we will not obtain Christlike character and holy living all at once, but we must grow toward maturity and wholeness.
4. In Love: we can seek to love others as completely as God loves us.
You, me, everyone, Christ calls us to excell, to rise above the middle, and to become mature Christians, striving to be like HIM. Those who do, will one day be perfect, even as Christ is perfect. (I John 3:2,3)
What kind of egg are you? You have the perfect packaging as does the egg.... so will you hit the ground and bounce or will you bust? Pray for oneanother and pray for yourself. Thank you for reading, love you all.

Why are you afraid?????

Good morning....the storm passed and all is well. A full moon last night, big and bright! So luminous, so bright, very nice. Many times things come up and we wonder why, or react in a state of fear. Mark 5:36 "Do not be afraid; only believe." Well, Yes, I believe, BUT....... Now when you said BUT you just erased all prior to that. How about, yes, I believe AND I give it all over to Jesus??
People will say I prayed, knew it would not do any good, I knew they wouldn't ............. Well, of course, they did not believe. If we pray and in our mind we don't think it will do any good......DID WE REALLY BELIEVE??????
GOD can do wondrous things in our situations, we don't have to lose hope as long as we what????? YES, we just have to believe in Jesus, trust HIM. Isaiah 41:10 "DON'T PANIC. I'M WITH YOU. THERE'S NO NEED TO FEAR FOR I'M YOUR GOD. I'LL GIVE YOU STRENGTH. I'LL HELP YOU. I'LL HOLD YOU STEADY, KEEP A FIRM GRIP ON YOU."
Whatever you have, give it over to God! Trust and Obey!! Thank you for reading. May you be blessed today! Love you all.

How is your "HOLY"??????

Good morning everyone!! Yes, yes, yes Lord.....what a wonderful week we have had. Oh, we may want to complain about things in our life.....but first-we are all children of God (that should be enough to make us all very happy) and second-our God is a living god (not a lump of metal or wood sitting on a pedestal).
How is your HOLY???? I Thessalonians 4:7 "God called us to live holy lives, not impure lives." What you talkin bout????? The Bible teaches that holiness is not a state of being that you can create on your own with hard work and good deeds. Being made holy occurs in the process of living the Christian life. If you have accepted Christ's sacrifice on your behalf, then you are considered holy and complete in God's eyes. WOW!!!!! But, we must continue to learn and grow and the Holy Spirit works in us.
Galatians 5:22-23 "But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!"
The fruit of the Spirit is the spontaneous work of the Holy Spiriti in us. The Spirit produces these character traits that are found in the nature of Christ. We cannot get them by 'trying to get them' with the help of the Spirit. If you want your fruits to grow we must know Him, love Him, remember Him, and imitate Him. (Him being Jesus Christ)
God sent the Spirit, and if we are filled with the Spirit we will be in perfect harmony with the intent of God's law. Thank you for reading today!!! May this touch your heart and may your day be richer in Christ. Pray for yourself, all on this list, all around you, and don't forget family, friends, and enemies. Love you all.
