Yes by Jesus

Good morning all! I trust you have had a great week in the LORD! God is good all the time, all the time God is good. Psalm 34:1 "I will extol the LORD at all times; his praise will always be on my lips."

Yesterday we read about wisdom, the day before about a fool, today Psalm 15:1-5 "LORD, who may dwell in your sanctuary?
Who may live on your holy hill?
He whose walk is blameless and who does what is righteous,
who speaks the truth from his heart and has no slander on his tongue,
who does his neighbor no wrong and casts no slur on his fellow man,
who despises a vile man but honors those who fear the LORD,
who keeps his oath even when it hurts,
who lends his money without usury and does not accept a bribe against the innocent
He who does these things will never be shaken."

Look at these points...how can WE do all this?
Blameless? by Jesus Righteous? by Jesus
Speaks truth and not slander? by Jesus Wrongs no one? by Jesus
Casts no slur? by Jesus despises vile men and fears the LORD? by Jesus
Keeps his oath? by Jesus Lends money & no bribes? by Jesus

So what do we get from all this? We will not be shaken - and we will have
LIFE EVERLASTING SINGING PRAISES TO GOD! Open the eyes of our heart LORD so that we may see you! Wonderful song, wonderful action, wonderful life! Can you answer the above questions with yes? If so, praise the LORD, if not it is time you had a talk with your Father.

Thank you for reading today. God bless. Love you all.

Opposite of foolish - - - wisdom

Good morning everyone!! How are you today? Please tell just one person about Jesus today. God is good all the time, all the time God is good!
Psalm 34:1 "I will extol the LORD at all times, his praise will always be on my lips."

Yesterday we visited about what a fool says....well.....what about the opposite......the benefits of wisdom?
Proverbs 3:1-4 "My son, do not forget my teaching,
but keep my commands in your heart,
for they will prolong your life many years
and bring you prosperity.
Let love and faithfulness never leave you,
bind them around your neck,
write them on the tablet of your heart.
Then you will win favor and a good name
in the sight of God and man."

Wow, just take a moment, Stop, read this passage again. Keep my commands where? In our heart! Our heart is the engine of our life! If we have lust in the heart-we will lust; if we have greed in our heart-we will want more; if we do not have love in our heart - we will hate.

The song OPEN THE EYES OF MY HEART LORD has very strong meaning to me. When you have time listen to this song. The eyes of our heart determine the heartbeat of our life, the path we will walk, and expose our true inward self. Where is your heart? What is written on the tablet of your heart? Thank you for reading. Love you all! STOP, DROP, PRAY -Spend time with the Trinity.

The fool says........

Good morning everyone!! Yes, yes, a great day to be alive in the LORD! Psalm 34:1 tells us to rejoice and praise God with each breath. Tell of his greatness. Did you?

Think about all that God does. Look around! How can there not be a God? Listen to what David says about people who rebuke and say there is no God.

Psalm 14:1 "The fool says in his heart, "There is no God," They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good."

Please read that verse again....S L O W. Who says this? the fool What does he say? no God What about them? corrupt, vile deeds What do they believe? no one does good.

Wow! What a miserable life, a life without God!! We need to just stop, look around, and say thank you God, thank you Jesus, thank you Holy Spirit. Take just a moment to be with your God!

Thank you for reading today. Love you all! GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME, ALL THE TIME GOD IS GOOD!!

Ups and downs with God!

Good morning everyone! Yes, a great day to be alive in the LORD Jesus. God is good all the time, all the time, God is good!! Psalm 34:1 tells us to praise God at all times, to boast of Him. Did you do that this past week, the weekend, or sometime?

In Genesis starting around the 36th chapter on into the 40's you will read about Joseph. His brothers hated him, sold him, bought as a slave in Egypt. There he has his ups and downs, his downs were prison, but his ups were really good. Being the captains servant, entrusted much, thrown into prison, then interpret a dream for pharaoh and then being put in charge of the goods to help go through a desperate time.

What did Joseph do? He kept his faith in the LORD! In good times and in bad he kept his faith in the LORD! Now when the cupbearer for pharaoh went to prison, had a dream, Joseph interpreted the dream and asked the cupbearer to remember him. The cupbearer forgot until pharaoh had a dream......two years later! Wow! God answers prayers and we want the answer NOW!

Joseph did this: 1) kept the faith; 2) waited patiently on God; and 3) was lifted out of "prison" and taken care of. Are you able to do this? Keep the faith, wait patiently, and let God take you out of your "prison?" Thank you for reading today. Love you all! Keep the faith, be patient, let go-let God.

Make up your mind!!

Good morning everyone!! Yes, another great day to be alive in the LORD! God is good all the time, all the time God is good. Psalm 34:1 "I will extol the LORD at all times; his praise will always be on my lips.:

1 Kings 18:21 "How long will you halt and limp between two opinions?" Make up your mind!!
Sounds easy - not so easy. Either God is the almighty Creator of the universe who can help you - or he is not. Either God can raise the dead and bring you hopes and dreams to life - OR all the claims of the Bible are false.

God made a stand for us by sending Jesus. Jesus is our common bond. Now God wants us to make a stand for Him through Jesus. Halfway trusting is serving two masters and will create confusion and heartache. Peace, serenity, and eternity is the only way....and that way is through Jesus.

Share Jesus with at least one person, let Jesus come up in just 1 conversation and see what happens. God will lead - let go let Him. Thank you for reading today. Love you all.

Knowing HE love you!!

Good morning all! God is good all the time, all the time God is good!! Aren't you glad we have a living God. Let's CELEBRATE!! Psalm 34:1 "I will praise the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth."

Mark 1:11 "Then a voice comes from heaven, "You are MY beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.""

The moment we believed in God, all of His goodness and grace were given to us. In a sense, we were clothed with them as if a spiritual garment covered us.

All of the joy, power, and approval - all the cherished characteristics associated with God - were conferred upon us. We should be encouraged as no one can take away what God has given to us. His complete love and approval are ours forever, so rejoice and delight yourself in Him. CELEBRATE!!

"God has been so kind to us, and He has accepted us because of Jesus" Romans 5:17

Redemption - Aren't you glad you serve a living God!

Good morning everyone!!! I hope this is a great day of CELEBRATION in the LORD. God is good all the time, all the time God is good!!

Psalm 34:1 "I will praise the LORD at all time; His praise shall continually be in my mouth."

Don't forget to give God credit for all you are, all you have, and all you will receive in the future.

Psalm 34:22 "The LORD redeems the soul of His servants, and none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned."

Wow!! What is this verse telling you? The LORD will come and redeem, what is redeem? Redemption (religious), a concept referring to forgiveness or absolution for past sins and protection from eternal damnation
In Christianity, salvation through the payment of a formal obligation by the death of Jesus Christ.

Then, none of us who trust in Him will be condemned, as in banished to the lake of fire or commonly referred to as hell. Once again, CELEBRATE, aren't you glad you serve a risen, living savior. Thank you JESUS! Praise GOD! Thank you for reading. Love you all.

CELEBRATE TODAY!!

Good morning all!! What a great day to be alive and celebrate a risen, living GOD!! God is good, all the time, all the time, God is good!! What more can we say? Psalm 34:1 “I will praise the LORD at all time, HIS praise shall continually be in my mouth.”

Psalm 34:21 “Evil shall slay the wicked, and those who hate the righteous shall be condemned.”

Look around, do you see evil slaying the wicked? Read the news! Listen to the radio! It is happening in our day as well as ancient. Those who hate the righteous shall be condemned....yes....it is coming. But when?? Only God knows, not even the Son knows.

So.....let today be a day of celebration!! Rejoice and take comfort in the word of God. We can complain about Hillary, Obama, Huckaby, and on and on; or about the economy; global warming; high gas prices; and there are multitudes of items to complain about. DON'T!! CELEBRATE - YOU ARE A CHILD OF A LIVING GOD! REJOICE! Oh, how wonderful to rely on God. Thank you for reading. Love you all!

Do you worship Sundays, OR "celebrate a living GOD?"

Good morning everyone!! I would like to thank you for your prayers in the loss of my aunt Betty Jacobs. The family does appreciate your thoughts and prayers. God is good all the time, all the time God is good.

Yesterday, Sunday, Jan. 20, was a great day to be in fellowship with our fellow believers. The temp gauge in the car never came off ICE until after the third service, but there was plenty of warmth at church. The warmth came from the people, not the building.

Josh preached and then had us pray for the marriage of families, ours and others. Very moving. Then Bro Lou talked about the four functions of the church and that we celebrate a living God. This caused me to think about Sunday morning church and our daily routine. Read what is written in Habakkuk 1:5 "Look and be amazed at what's happening.....Even if your were told, you would never believe what's taking place."

Part of worshiping God is standing in awe of Him. Worship happens when you encounter God and realize that he is more amazing than the human mind could every fully comprehend.

I have decided I will never go to a Sunday service again, I will, on Sundays, go to celebrate my amazing, wonderful, living GOD. Then on Monday through Saturday I will continue to celebrate my amazing, wonderful, and living God. How about you? Join the celebration. Thanks for reading. Love you all.

No bones shall be broken........

Good morning! God is good all the time, all the time, God is good!!! Psalm 34:1 "I will praise the LORD at all times. I will constantly speak his praises."

Psalm 34:20 "For the LORD protects the bones of the righteous; not one of them is broken!"

There is a prophecy about Christ when he was crucified. Although it was the Roman custom to break the legs of the victim to speed death, not one of Jesus' bones was broken. (John 19:32-37) In addition to the prophetic meaning, David was pleading for God's protection in times of crisis.

The bones are the frame of the body which provides structure to the entire body. As a bone at crucifixion was not broken, not a bone of the body of Christ, the church will be broken, harmed, segmented, or lost.

No matter what satan does, the church will remain intact. That is great news for us. Do you ask for God's protection? Why not? HE wants to hear from us. Talk to him daily. Thank you for reading. Love you all.

Do you turn to God in troubled times?

Good morning everyone!! I hope this is a wonderful day for you!! God is good all the time, all the time God is good!! Psalm 34:1 "I will praise the LORD at all times. I will constantly speak his praises."

Psalm 34:17-19 "The LORD hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed. The righteous person faces many troubles, but the LORD comes to the rescue each time."

We often wish we could escape troubles-the pain of grief, loss, sorrow, and failure, or even the small daily frustrations that constantly wear us down. God promises to be "close to the brokenhearted" and to be our source of power, courage, and wisdom, helping us through our problems.

Sometimes he chooses to deliver us from those problems. When trouble strikes, don't get frustrated with God. Instead, admit that you need God's help and thank him for being by your side.

Thank you for reading with me today. May God lead each step. Love you all.

What has GOD seen you doing?

Hello, sorry I am late. Taking my lunch hour to do my devotional. I was ill this early a.m. and could not get out of bed. Not fun. Remember, Psalm 34:1 "I will praise the LORD at all times. I will constantly speak his praises."

Psalm 34:15-16 "The eyes of the LORD watch over those who do right; his ears are open to their cries for help. But the LORD turns his face against those who do evil; he will erase their memory from the earth."

God's eyes and ears are always open to those who live righteously and no righteous act ever escapes God's eye.

Also, God is never indifferent to the deeds of sinful men.

Where do you sit? Read this again and take a moment to ponder. What acts has God seen you do? Thank you for reading. Love you all.

Where are you walking? Are you following evil or good?

Good morning everyone!! Yes, God is good all the time, all the time God is good. May your day be blessed with God's blessings. Psalm 34:1 "I will praise the LORD at all times. I will constantly speak his praises."

Psalm 34:14 "Turn away from evil and do good. Search for peace, and work to maintain it." Let's talk about this verse again. Some may think that peace should come with no effort. But David explained that we are to work hard at peace. Paul echoed this thought in Romans 12:18 "Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone."

A person who wants peace cannot be argumentative and contentious. Peaceful relationships come from our efforts at peacemaking, work hard at living in peace with others each day.

Are you turning away from evil? Are you working at peace? Are you walking in the world with the prince of the earth or walking with the LORD Jesus Christ, letting Jesus be your pilot? Thanks for reading. Love you all!

Are you reverant and loving?

Good morning everyone!! I hope this is a great day in the Lord Jesus Christ for all of you. I ask that you keep the family of Betty Jacobs in your prayers as she went home to be with the LORD, Jan. 14 (yesterday) in the morning. It was peaceful and quiet.

Psalm 34:1 "I WILL PRAISE THE LORD AT ALL TIMES. I WILL CONSTANTLY SPEAK HIS PRAISES."

These verses go together so please bear with me. Psalm 34:11-14"Come, my children, and listen to me, and I will teach you to fear the LORD. Does anyone want to live a life that is long and prosperous? Then keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies! Turn away from evil and do good. Search for peace, and work to maintain it.

The Bible often connects the fear of the LORD (love and reverence for him) with obedience. David said that a person who fears the LORD doesn't lie, turns from evil, does good, and promotes peace.

Reverence is more that sitting quietly in church, it includes obeying God in the way we speak and the way we treat others. How do you treat other? Are you reverant and loving on Sunday and hell on wheels Monday through Friday? Thank you for reading with me. Love you all.

How do you measure up?

Good morning everyone!!! What a great day to be alive in the LORD Jesus
Christ. Psalm 34:1 "I will praise the LORD at all time. I will constantly
speak his praises."

I am having trouble with mail coming back. PLEASE just a 'reply' and
say "got it" so I will know what is going on with my network. Thank
you.

Psalm 34:11 "Come, my children, and listen to me, and I will teach you
to fear the LORD."

We should go to the LORD, listen, and fear. What does fear mean? To
be frightened, scared, ready for flight? NO! Fear of the LORD means
to have love and reverence for him with obedience.

Ecclesiastes 12:13 "........Fear God and obey his commands, for this is
everyone's duty." Those who think life is unfair should remember that
God will review every person's life to determine how he or she has
responded to him, and he will bring every deed into judgment. Have you
committed your life to God? Does your life measure up to his
standards?

Thank you for reading. Love you all. God is good all the time, all the
time God is good!!

With God - what you have is ENOUGH!

Good morning all!! Oh, yes, a wonderful day to praise God and let the eyes of our heart be open! God is good all the time, all the time God is good! Psalm 34:1 "I WILL PRAISE THE LORD AT ALL TIMES. I WILL CONSTANTLY SPEAK HIS PRAISES."

Psalm 34:10 "Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the LORD will lack no good thing."

David is not saying that as Christians we will have everything we want. This is David's praise for God's goodness - all those who call upon God in their need will be answered, sometimes in unexpected ways.

Always remember, God knows what we need, and our deepest needs are spiritual Even though many of us, Christians, face unbearable poverty and hardship, we still have enough spiritual nourishment to live for God. David was saying that if you have God, you have all you really need. God is enough

Thank you for reading with me today. May you have "enough" today, and throughout the year. Love you all.

Try it - you'll like it! GOD!!

Good morning everyone!! Yes, another wonderful day to be alive in the LORD JESUS CHRIST. God is good all the time, all the time God is good. Psalm 34:1 "I WILL PRAISE THE LORD AT ALL TIME. I WILL CONSTANTLY SPEAK HIS PRAISES."

Psalm 34:8 "Taste and see that the LORD is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him!" STOP, PRAY, and MEDIATE on this, the word of God.

"Taste and see" is a warm invitation to know God's goodness. This goes back to an old expression - "try it, you'll like it!" When we take the first step of obedience in following God, we will discover that he is good and kind.

When we begin the Christian life, our knowledge of God is partial and incomplete. As we trust Him daily, we experience how good He is. Are YOU tasting and seeing? Thank you for reading with me today. Love you all.

Who listens and protects you?

Good morning to all!! A great day to be alive in Jesus Christ our LORD! Psalm 34:1 “I WILL PRAISE THE LORD AT ALL TIMES. I WILL CONSTANTLY SPEAK HIS PRAISES.”

God is good all the time, all the time God is good! Psalm 34:6-7 “In my desperation I prayed, and the LORD listened; he saved me from all my troubles. For the angel of the LORD is a guard; he surrounds and defends all who fear him.”

Wow! How strong is this. Who listened to you? The LORD! The most high listened to you. How awesome, and then what did he do? Saved you from all your troubles!! Who else, but the most high and loving LORD can do this. Friends and family can help us with our troubles, but GOD saves us from our troubles. Another WOW!!

Who will protect you? An angel of who? The LORD! An angel sent from the most powerful being in the universe is here to protect you!! What do we have to do for all this? Simply fear the LORD! If you fear the LORD, HE will take total and complete care of you..

Thank you for reading with me today. Love you all.

When in need, turn to the SON

Good morning to all!! Thank your for reading with me today. God is good all the time, all the time God is good! Psalm 34:1 "I WILL PRAISE THE LORD AT ALL TIMES. I WILL CONSTANTLY SPEAK HIS PRAISES."

Look at Psalm 34:4,5 "I prayed to the LORD, and he answered me. He freed me from all my fears. Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces."

This simply means that when men in need look to the Lord Jesus, their countenances are immediately brightened or cheered because of the One to whom they look.

Prayer is our most powerful tool, use it, He will answer. When we go to the SON, all will be bright as the sun, no darkeness on our faces, no shame. How wonderful this is!! Have a blessed day in the LORD. Love you all.

Let us exalt HIS name

Good morning everyone! Yes, another day to praise God! Brrr, cold, but we can go forth. Psalm 34:1 "I WILL PRAISE THE LORD AT ALL TIMES. I WILL CONSTANTLY SPEAK HIS PRAISES."

We do a lot of things in our daily life, some good, some great, and...... some not so good things. Yesterday I had to praise God for being in control. I narrowly missed an accident that would have totaled my pickup. It was my fault, but God was, and is in control. When all was done the only thing I could say was, "Thank you Jesus!"

Psalm 34:3 "Come, let us tell of the LORD's greatness; let us exalt his name together."

Have you shared the LORD's greatness with anyone lately? We need to do so, and together with others share this great news. Tell a loved one, an associate, a family member, or a stranger about how great your LORD is.

Thank you for reading with me today. Love you all.

Boast in the LORD!

PSALM 34:1 "I WILL PRAISE THE LORD AT ALL TIMES. I WILL CONSTANTLY SPEAK HIS PRAISES."

Good morning everyone!! Yes, God is good all the time, all the time God is good!! A second resolution I have is to remember this verse and live by it.

Psalm 34:2 "I WILL BOAST ONLY IN THE LORD; LET ALL WHO ARE HELPLESS TAKE HEART."
When I boast it will not be of the "I", but of the LORD and what he has done in my life. There is hope for all, the helpless need to take heart and give it all to God.
Please stop and think about this verse. What does it mean to you? Thank you for reading. Have a wonderful day in the LORD Jesus Christ, our saviour! Love you all!

I WILL PRAISE THE LORD AT ALL TIMES.......

Hello Everyone and Happy New Year! One new year resolution I have is to be short, sweet, and to the point with the devotionals. Soooooo, here goes....

Psalm 34:1 "I WILL PRAISE THE LORD AT ALL TIMES. I WILL CONSTANTLY SPEAK HIS PRAISES."
These are the words I plan to live by, God willing. God promises great blessings to his people, but many of these blessings require active participation. God pays attention to those who call on him. Whether God offers escape from trouble or help in times of trouble, we can be certain that he always hears and acts on behalf of those who love him.

Thank you for reading with me and may your time with the LORD be well spent.
