Proverbs 18:32-34

Good morning everyone! Finally up on the net, whew! God is good all the time, all the time God is good!

Did you compromise yesterday as did Samson? Did you stay the course, true to the course?

Psalm 18: 32-34 "God arms me with strength, and he makes my way perfect. He makes me as surefooted as a deer, enabling me to stand on mountain heights. He trains my hands for battle; he strengthens my arm to draw a bronze bow."

Finish reading this when you have time, Proverbs 18.

God doesn't promise to eliminate challenges; instead, he promises to give us strength to meet those challenges. If he gave us no rough roads to walk, no mountains to climb, and no battles to fight, we would not grow. He does not leave us alone with our challenges. Instead, he stands beside us, teaches us, and strengthens us to face them.

Have you experienced a "tough time" and failed to look up; or did you look up and praise God for the experience? It is easy to complain, gripe, and feel sorry; it takes a Christian who gives it all to God to raise his/her arms and praise God at all time. Where are you standing now? Arms up with a smile; arms crossed with a frown? It is all up to you. God loves you. Pray me yourself and others. Love ya.

Samson? or Sin? Judges 16

Good morning everyone! God is good all the time, all the time God is good! Have you looked around lately just to see what is really going on in the world? Is this the world God truly wants for us?

Moral compromise! This is where we are today. Is it unique? No, not even close. Think about the strongest man ever in the world, Samson. Samson was the master at compromise, to walk in both worlds--the spiritual and the evil.

Did Samson just turn to the dark side? No! Samson toyed with sin, and this sin had a name, Delilah. She "loved" Samson, loved him for what? A sum of money! She wanted only to get the secret of his strength; he wanted only her love, a Philistine woman.

Too often we compromise our values given from God. Look at our churches today, some do not and will not teach the crucifixion of Christ because it is "too bloody, too gruesome." Yet we will watch, or let our family watch TV with sex, violence, and corrupt language on it. X-boxes, Wii's, etc. with games of violence. Oh, but...... that should be Oh, bite the bullet, be the adult, do the right thing.

We will give ourselves over to sin, aka stupidity, and then we are easily deceived as the truth becomes blurry or not seen at all. Where are you? Stupid or Spiritual? Samson prayed, and in the end did God's work and killed more Philistines in the temple than he did in battle. Samson got right, prayed to do God's work. Judges 16 - example of playing with sin. Love you all.

Rejoice! Be glad!

Good morning everyone! God is good all the time, all the time God is good!

Psalm 35:9 "Then I will rejoice in the LORD. I will be glad because he rescues me."

Psalm 58:10 "The godly will rejoice when they see injustice avenged. They will wash their feet in the blood of the wicked."

We can rejoice for we know God will rescue us and that sin will be avenged. We may wonder why those people do such bad and evil things and nothing ever happens to them. Some will happen as sin does not go unnoticed by God.

Stay the course, true to the path, and you will be rejoicing with all the angels in heaven. There has been, is not, and will always be hope for God is the King of kings and lives!!!

Take time today and rejoice in God. Rejoice! Be happy you are a child of God! Rejoice! Love you all!

Are you ready? Matthew 25:6

Good morning! God is good all the time, all the time God is good!

Have you asked the question of yourself--"Am I ready?"

Ready for what? Death! Jesus' return! The end times!

If you met death in your doorway would you find peace in Jesus?!?

Matthew 25:6 "At midnight they were roused by the shout, "Look, the bridegroom is coming! Come out and meet him!""

Are you ready? Ready to meet the bridegroom? Where is your spirit today? Are you comfortable with the relationship you and Jesus have?

Have you planted seeds for growth in Christ or have your seeds been cast upon rocky ground? The end is closer as more signs are evident; but are you watching as if watching for a thief in the night?

Food for thought. I would welcome your response. If you were to get your crown today what offerings would you have? Gold, silver, precious stones or wood, hay, and stubble? Let me know what you think. Love you all.

Proverbs 21

Good morning everyone! I trust this is a wonderful day for you! Good news is around the corner, good news is where ever you are. God is good all the time, all the time God is good.

Today is the 21st day of the month. Take a look at Proverbs 21, http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Proverbs%2021&version=NLT

There are many statements here that will make you say, HUH? Let me read that again.

2 People may be right in their own eyes,
but the Lord examines their heart.

10 Evil people desire evil;
their neighbors get no mercy from them.

And the one that relates to all of us:
23 Watch your tongue and keep your mouth shut,
and you will stay out of trouble.

God looks at our heart, evil follows evil, and if we watch what we say we will stay out of trouble. Wow! 23rd verse is so true. I hope this is food for thought for you today. Have a great day. Love you all.

How's your world going? Proverbs 13

Good morning everyone! God is good all the time, all the time God is good! Take a moment to read Proverbs 13. It is quite enlightening for us all. Here is a link:

You may have to copy and paste. Some will really pop out at you. The godly hate lies; lazy people want much but get little; some who are poor pretend to be rich and other who are rich pretend to be poor; pride leads to conflict; and one for all our politicians and large company CEO's: wealth from get rich quick schemes quickly disappears, wealth from hard work grows over time.

Another for politicians and CEO's: Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble.

For all of America Proverbs 13:24 "Those who spare the rod of discipline hate their children. Those who love their children care enough to discipline them."

Discipline is the key word here. Many will focus on "rod" while this does not mean to beat them into submission, but to give them a clear understanding of right and wrong. Everyone is different, some need to be "spanked" to spark their attention; some can be visited with; some need time-out; some need to lose privileges and then earn them back, one at a time.

Take time today, read this chapter, it does not take long. I don't have time is a weak, feeble, worthless excuse. You have time if you want to have time. This is not reading this chapter because I say so; it is about spending time with God! Love you all.

Are you impressed with yourself? Are you reliable?

Good morning all! God is good all the time, all the time God is good. Sooooo, does God hate? What did you decide? Let me know.

Proverbs 3:7-8 "Don't be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the LORD and turn away from evil. The you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones."

Proverbs 13:17 "An unreliable messenger stumbles into trouble, but a reliable messenger brings healing."

Don't be impressed with yourself, be humble always unto the LORD. Turn away from evil gives healing for the body and strength for your bones. Brain researchers have found that we can "de-tox" our minds of the bad or evil thoughts and learn to turn away the "bad thoughts." This definitely does bring healing.

In Solomon's day they relied on messengers for information. A poor messenger could cause problems by causing wars, hurting businesses, damaging marriages, and on and on. A good messenger is valuable, a poor messenger is no more than a gossip. Think about these 2 thoughts today. They just jumped out at me. I will do a self re-eval and let you know how that comes out. lol Have a wonderful day. Love you all.

Does God hate? Proverbs 16:16-19

Good morning everyone!! God is good all the time, all the time God is good! Does God hate? Think about this question......"Does God hate?"

What do you think? Do you hate? Is it okay for you to hate? If you will look in the book of Proverbs you will find 14 types of people and actions that God hates. If God hates these people and things......is it okay for us to hate these things and people?

Proverbs 6:16-19 "There are six things the LORD hate- no, seven things he detests: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that kill the innocent, a heart that plots evil, feet that race to do wrong, a false witness who pours out lies, a person who sows discord in a family."

Also, violent people, those who are untruthful, the sacrifice of the wicked, the way of the wicked, evil plans, those who are proud, and those who judge unjustly. These are all found in Proverbs: 3:31,32; 12:22; 15:8; 15:9; 15:26; 16:5; 17:15 respectively.

Do you fall in any of these categories? If so what do you do? Pray and ask for forgiveness. Love you all!

2 Peter 2:2-3 False Teachers

Good morning everyone! God is good all the time, all the time God is good. Have you thought about false teachers?

2 Peter 2:2-3 "Many will follow their evil teaching and shameful immorality. And because of these teachers, the way of truth will be slandered. In their greed they will make up clever lies to get hold of your money. But God condemned them long ago, and their destruction will not be delayed."

Peter gives three warning signs for identifying false teachers:
(1) Immorality. do their lives contain or condone immoral practices? Does the group listening to the false teachers have a lot of immoral sexual relationships?
(2) Greed. Teachers have a right to financial support, but is money the teacher's or group's prime motivation? Before you send money to any cause, evaluate it carefully. Is the teacher or preacher clearly serving God or merely promoting his/her own interests? Will the person or organization use the money to promote valid ministry, or will it merely finance further promotions or extravagant lifestyles?
(3) Lying. Is the leader offended when you ask for the scriptural backing behind his/her statements? Does he/she fudge on the facts when asked for evidence?
Believers today would do well to listen and follow Peter's warnings against false teachers; the danger is great. Eternity where?
People in the church, people in the pulpit are distorting the word of God today! Be careful. Love you all.

Proverbs 14:6 Knowledge or mockery

Good morning everyone! God is good all the time, all the time God is good! Another great day to be alive in the LORD JESUS CHRIST!!

Proverbs 14:6 "A mocker seeks wisdom and never finds it, but knowledge comes easily to those with understanding."

We all know mockers. People who scoff at every word of instruction or advice. They never find wisdom because they don't seek it seriously. Wisdom come to those who apply God's words o their lives and seek out godly counsel. If the wisdom you need does not come easily to you, perhaps your attitude is the barrier.

Our attitude affects our perception. Where is your attitude? Attitude also affects the altitude you are with God. Is you altitude high or low? Take a moment to reflect and see where you are right now. Praise God and give God the glory, whether you are flying high or low.......praise God! Love you all.

Proverbs 15:17-19 Open highway or brier road

Good morning everyone! God is good all the time, all the time God is good! Take time to thank God for all you have. Take time to thank God for all you don't have. We need to praise HIM in good times and in bad.

Praise report? Anyone? Anyone? I would love to hear from someone what God is doing in your life. Okay, I will go first.

I used to think if I gave God praise, openly, out loud, that satan would come in and undo all the good. Oh, ye of little faith. If God gave the opportunity to me, why would HE slam the door?

When I earnestly pray about where I am in life, my dedication to God, my wife, my family, my job (in that order), I am richly blessed in one way or another. God has a purpose for you, talk to HIM, tell HIM what you want, then what you need, and be dedicated to do the best with what HE gives you. Praising HIM whether it goes in a positive direction or in a negative direction.

Proverbs 15:17-19 "A bowl of vegetables with someone you love is better that steak with someone you hate. A hot-tempered person starts fights; a cool-tempered person stops them. A lazy person's way is blocked with briers, but the path of the upright is an open highway."

The path of the upright doesn't always seem easy but it beats the alternative; hatred, dissension, and laziness. May God keep your sails full and your sailing smooth. Love you all.

Rejoice in little. Proverbs 15:16

Good morning everyone! Another great day to be alive in the LORD JESUS CHRIST!!
God is good all the time, all the time God is good!

Ever think, 'if I just had a million dollars, I would be fine and all would be well?'

Does money solve our problems? More money may be the band aid to hide the wound, but that band aid does not HEAL the wound.

Proverbs 15:16 "Better to have little, with fear for the LORD, than to have great treasure and inner turmoil."

People in Hollywood make big money, and they 'seem happy' when the paparazzi is around. But are they really? So many divorces and attitudes and indebtedness.

Are you happy? If not, look at your relationship with the LORD, YOUR GOD! It may be time to level the playing field and be honest with yourself. God already knows. Now is the time to do the right thing. Love you all.

Hungry? For what? Proverbs 15:14

Good morning everyone! Another great day to be alive in the LORD JESUS CHRIST! God is good all the time, all the time God is good!

Proverbs 15:14 "A wise person is hungry for knowledge, while the fool feeds on trash."

What we feed our minds is just as important as what we feed our bodies. The kinds of books we read, the people we talk with, the music we listen to, and the films we watch are all part of our mental diet.

Be discerning because what you feed your mind influences your total health and well-being. Remember, a strong desire to discover knowledge is a mark of wisdom.

Let's pray today that we are discerning and feeding our minds the spiritual food rather than the secular and that we will continually move toward wisdom in God. Thank you for reading. Love you all.

Attitude? Your smile? Your Heart? Your perception?

Good morning everyone! And a HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY (belated) to all the Mom's in the crowd. God is good all the time, all the time God is good.

Proverbs 15:13 "A glad heart makes a happy face; a broken heart crushes the spirit."
Proverbs 15:15 "For the despondent, every day brings trouble; for the happy heart, life is a continual feast."

Our attitudes color our whole personality. We cannot always choose what happens to us, but we can choose our attitude toward each situation.

The secret to a happy heart is filling our mind with thoughts that are true, pure, and lovely, with thought that dwell on the good things in life (Philippians 4:8).

This was Paul's secret as he faced imprisonment, and it can be ours as we face the struggles of daily living. Look at your attitudes and then examine what you allow to enter your mind and what you choose to dwell on. You may need to make some changes.

I believe it was C.S. Lewis that said, "Attitude affects your perspective."

Thank you for reading. Love you all. May you have a smiley, happy day!

Micah 1:9 How deep is your wound?

Good morning everyone! I do hope the National Day of Prayer was productive for you. God is good all the time, all the time God is good.

Micah 1:9 "For my people's wound is too deep to heal. It has reached into Judah, even to the gates of Jerusalem."

Samaria's sins were incurable, and God's judgment on the city had already begun. This sin was not like a gash in the skin but more like a stab wound in a vital organ, causing an injury that would soon prove fatal. Samaria was destroyed early in Micah's ministry. Samaria's sin had influenced Jerusalem and judgment would come to its very gates.

Are we as Samaria? Have we strayed so far that our wounds are incurable? God has laid forth His judgment, but we could be as Nineveh. We need to pray and pray hard for God's help, a state of reprieve, that His judgment won't come upon us, but that we will return to a country, united, and under 1 God. The one and only living God, who sent His son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins.

May God have mercy on us and our generations to come. Love you all. Pray!!

PRAYER - National Day of Prayer

Good morning everyone! God is good all the time, all the time God is good! Today is national day of prayer, there won't be one held at the white house, but we don't have to be in Washington D.C. to pray.

Abraham, Genesis 24:25 "Before I had finished praying in my heart........"

Jesus; Matthew 26:39 "He went on a little farther and bowed with his face to the ground praying, "My father! If it is possible, let this cup of suffering be taken away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.""

Jesus; Mark 11:22-24 "Then Jesus said to the disciples, "Have faith in God. I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, 'May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,' and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart."

Jesus; Mark 11:25 "But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too."

Luke 3:21 "On day when the crowds were being baptized, Jesus himself was baptized. As he was praying, the heavens opened."

These are just parts of the Bible talking about prayer. First, comes from the heart, second-be in a reverent state, third-God's will, fourth-have faith, fifth-forgive others then you will be forgiven, and finally the heavens will open.

When the heavens open God's love and mercy will rain on us. To the Christians it will be pure and wonderful; to the non-believer it will be acid and harmful. Open your arms for God's blessings and rejoice on this National Day of Prayer. Love you all.

Micah 1:8,9 Are you crying?

Good morning everyone! God is good all the time, all the time God is good! Tomorrow, Thursday, is the national day of prayer. Take time all during the day to pray.

Micah 1:8.9 " 8 Because of this I will weep and wail;
I will go about barefoot and naked.
I will howl like a jackal
and moan like an owl.
9 For her wound is incurable;
it has come to Judah.
It [a] has reached the very gate of my people,
even to Jerusalem itself."

We had talked in previous writings about idols, turning away from God, and what would happen. Because of God's anger and the result of what God does would bring us to this? Weeping, wailing, howl and moaning. Is our wound incurable? What will happen? What will we do?

National Day of Prayer is a good start for everyone! Touch your cell phone, PRAY! In our times, you can read all about it....just open Revelations. Love you all. Say a pray of forgiveness, then pray for yourself and others. Love you all.

What is happening? Micah 1:7

Good morning everyone! Another great day to be alive in the LORD JESUS CHRIST and knowing that GOD is our FATHER. God is good all the time, all the time God is good.

Look around and see what is happening in the world. I don't want to share doom and gloom, just reality. Not reality TV, but reality in living on earth with God as our salvation.

Volcanic eruption in Iceland, flooding in Tenn., tornadoes in Ms. & Ga., oil spill in the gulf, earthquakes and on and on. Just take a gander at revelations and see what you find.

Micah 1:7 (New International Version)

7 All her idols will be broken to pieces;
all her temple gifts will be burned with fire;
I will destroy all her images.
Since she gathered her gifts from the wages of prostitutes,
as the wages of prostitutes they will again be used."

Micah's words seem to be relevant today as well as yesteryear. There is a good, great, and bright side to all this.......GOD who gave His only son - JESUS CHRIST - as a means of our salvation and hope. Take time today to pray. When you touch your phone say a quick prayer to God. He IS your father and He will listen. Love you all.

Plowed under? Us?!?! Micah 1:6

Good morning everyone! Another great day to be alive in the LORD JESUS CHRIST! God is good all the time, all the time God is good!

Did you stop and think about Micah and substituting in America and Washington D.C.? So what else does Micah say?

Micah 1:6 "So I, the LORD, will make the city of Samaria a heap of ruins. Her streets will be plowed up for planting vineyards. I will roll the stones of her walls into the valley below, exposing her foundations."

Why would God do this? Substitute Washington D.C. for Samaria. Why, God? Because of the perversion of worship and injustice toward others. God is not happy! If God ain't happy, ain't nobody gonna be happy!

Ezekiel 13:14 "I will break down your wall right to its foundation, and when it falls, it will crush you. Then you will know that I am the LORD."

How much more clear can God be? He warns us, yet we sit, silent, moaning and groaning but we do nothing. Hit your knees, Christians! Pray! Pray hard for the reviving of America and the world. We are being overcome by idols and non-Christian values and what do we do? What do we do?

Think about it, take time, pray! P R A Y !
