God Love You!

Good morning! God is good all the time, all the time God is good! When you feel down, we should always look up. Look at John 3:16 when you feel down.

You say: “Nobody really loves me”

God says: “I love you”

And God shows us this in John 3:16 “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so they everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”

Some people don’t want eternal life as they see it as an extension of their current life, which is miserable. Eternal life is not an extension of this life, eternal life is God’s life embodied in Christ, given to all believers now as a guarantee that they will live forever. In eternal life there is no death, no sickness, no enemy, no evil and no sin.

When we don’t know Jesus we make choices based on this life only and believe this is all we have. Actually, this life is just an introduction or preparation for eternity. We need to look at this new life of faith, and evaluate all that happens from an eternal perspective.

To “believe” means putting our trust and confidence in Him that he alone can save us. It is to put Christ in charge of our present plans and eternal destiny. Believing is both trusting His words as reliable and relying on Him for the power to change. If you have never truely trusted Christ, let this promise of everlasting life be yours and believe.

YOU ARE LOVED! MORE THAN YOU CAN IMAGINE! Thank you for reading with me this morning. Love you all.

He comes with the clouds of heaven

Good morning everyone! Yes, GOD IS GOOD - ALL THE TIME; ALL THE TIME - GOD IS GOOD!
So much information, such a desire to absorb it all at once. Let's move to Revelations 1:7

Jesus is not just a humble earthly teacher, He is the glorious God. When you read John's description of the vision, keep in mind that his words are not just good advice; they are truth from the King of kings. Don't just read his words for their interesting and amazing portrayal of the future. Let the truth about Christ penetrate your life, deepen your faith in him, and strengthen your commitment to follow him no matter what the cost.

"Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen."

coming with clouds - This echoes the promise of Daniel: The Son of Man will come with the clouds of heaven, Daniel 7:13 - not ordinary clouds but clouds of glory. In the Old Testament, God often manifested Himself in an energized, blazing light, called the Shekinah or glory cloud. No one could see it fully and live (Exodus 33:20), so it had to be veiled. But when Christ returns, the glory will be completely visible.

they who pierced - this is not a reference to the four Roman soldiers usually involved in Christ's crucifixion, but to the Jews who were actually responsible for Christ's death (Acts 2:22-23; 3:14-15) Zechariah identified the ones who pierced Him as "the house of David" and "the inhabitants of Jerusalem," and prophesied that they will weep tears of genuine repentance because of what they did to their Messiah. John saw Jesus' death with his own eyes, and he never forgot the horror of it.

all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him - The mourning of the rest of the earth's inhabitants is not that which accompanies genuine repentance. It is the result of guilt for sin and fear of punishment.

So, John is announcing the return of Jesus to earth. Jesus' second coming will be visible and victorious. All people will see him arrive and they will know it is Jesus. When he comes, he will conquer evil and judge all people according to their deeds. Thank you for reading with me today. Love you all.

Jesus' yoke

Good morning everyone! Yes, yes, another great day to be alive in Jesus. Yes, we qualify as a witness because of what Jesus did for us on the cross. God is good all the time, all the time God is good.

You say: "I'm too tired."

God says: "I will give you rest."

Matthew 11:28-30 "Then Jesus said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light."

A person may be carrying heavy burdens of (1) sin, (2) excessive demands of religious leaders, (3) oppression and persecution, or (4) weariness in the search for God. Jesus frees people from all these burdens. The rest that Jesus promises is love, healing, and peace with God, not the end of all labor.

A relationship with God changes meaningless, wearisome toil into spiritual productivity and purpose.

The yoke is still an oxen's tool for working hard. But it is a shared yoke, with weight falling on bigger shoulders than yours. Someone with more pulling power is up front helping. Suddenly you are participating in life's responsibilities with a great Partner - and now that frown can turn into a smile, and that gripe into a song.

Jesus is pulling for you, help out, pull your weight. Jesus shed blood, now pulling and helping you. Just LET GO, LET GOD, LET JESUS! Thank you for reading with me today. Love you all.

You qualify as a witness because..........

Good morning everyone! Another super day to be alive in Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour! God is good all the time, all the time God is good.

Revelation 1:4-6 "John, to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne, and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen."

Jesus told John to write to seven churches that knew and trusted him and had read his earlier letters. These letters could be read and passed on in a systematic fashion, following the main Roman road clockwise around the province of Asia (modern Turkey).

who is and who was and who is to come - God's eternal presence is not limited by time. He has always been present and will come in the future.

seven Spirits - is another name for the Holy Spirit. The number seven is used throughout Revelation to symbolize completeness and perfection.

firstborn (v5)- Jesus was the first who rose from the dead in an imperishable body, never to die again. He is the "first to rise from the dead," and the only One who is the rightful heir.(3:14)

v5-6 - Many hesitate to witness about their faith in Christ because they don't feel the change in their lives has been spectacular enough. But you qualify as a witness for Jesus because of what he has done for you, not because of what you have done for him. Christ demonstrated his great love by setting us free from our sins through his death on the cross. He "freed us from our sins by shedding his blood for us," guaranteeing us a place in his Kingdom, and making us priests to administer God's love to others. The fact that the all-powerful God has offered eternal life to you is nothing short of spectacular.

A chord that rang with me is I qualify as a witness for Jesus because of what He has done for me, not because of what I have done for Him. Think about this and remember this. Thank you for reading. Love you all.

All things are possible

Good morning! God is good all the time, all the time God is good!

You say, "It is impossible!"

God says, "All things are possible!"

Verify: Luke 18:27 "

Jesus had just talked to the rich young man about entering the kingdom of God. Luke 18:26-30 "Those who heard this said, "Then who in the world can be saved?" He (Jesus) replied, "What is impossible for people is possible with God." Peter replied, "We've left our homes to follow you." "Yes," Jesus replied, "and I assure you that everyone who has given up house or wife or brothers or parents or children, for the sake of the Kingdom of God, will be repaid many time over in this life, and will have eternal life in the world to come."

Peter and the other disciples had paid a high price - leaving their homes and jobs - to follow Jesus. But Jesus reminded Peter that following him has its benefits as well as its sacrifices. Any believer who has had to give up something to follow Christ will be repaid in this life as well as in the next.

For example, if you must give up your family's approval, you will gain the love of the family of God. The disciples had begun to pay the price of following Jesus, and he said they would be rewarded. Don't dwell on what you have given up; think about what you have gained and give thanks for it. You can never outgive God.

Thank you for reading with me today. Love you all.

Revelations 1:3 - Blessed.........

Good morning everyone! Yes, God is good all the time, all the time God is good! Let's look at Revelations 1:3.

1:3 "Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near."

Blessed - this is the only biblical book that come with a blessing for the one who listens to its message and then responds in obedience. This is the first of seven beatitudes in the book. God's plan for the future provides inspiration and encouragement because we know he will intervene in history to conquer evil. John encourages churches to read this book aloud so everyone can hear it, apply (obey) it, and be assured of the fact that God will triumph.

"time is near"- "time" refers to epochs, eras, or season. The next great epoch of God's redemptive history is imminent. John is urging his readers to be ready at all times for the last judgment and the establishment of God's kingdom. We do not know when these events will occur, but we must always be prepared. THEY WILL HAPPEN QUICKLY, AND THERE WILL BE NO SECOND CHANCE TO CHANGE SIDES!!

Thank you for reading with me today. Revelations 1:4-6 tomorrow. Love you all.

Revelation - an unveiling - v 1,2

Good morning all! I hope this weekend was enjoyable and safe for all! God is good all the time, all the time God is good! Several people have responded about doing a study of Revelations. I hope this will be interesting for you veterans of the Bible as well. I have a reference book written by John MacArthur and the title is Revelation - The Christian's ultimate Victory. This goes verse by verse and has 12 chapters. I will try to do a chapter a week, if possible.

Revelation: This word comes from the Greek word apokalypsis and means "an uncovering," "an unveiling," or "a disclosure." In the New Testament, this word describes the unveiling of spiritual truth, the revealing of the sons of God, Christ's incarnation and his glorious appearing at His second coming.

In all uses "revelation" refers to something or someone once hidden, becoming visible. What this book reveals or unveils is Jesus Christ in glory. Truths about jesus and His final victory become clearly visible through this revelation.

Revelation 1:1-2 "The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants-things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John, who bore witness to the word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw."

God gave His plan to Jesus Christ, who then gave the plan to John . "Jesus Christ" - The Gospels unveil Christ's coming in humiliation, the book of Revelation reveal Him in His exaltation.

"God gave Him" - As a reward for Christ's perfect submission and atonement, the Father now presented to Him the great record of His future glory.

"Shortly" - the primary meaning of this word, literally soon, underscores the imminence of Christ's return.

We just did verses 1 & 2, but hang on, chapter 1 relates the circumstances that led to the writing of this book. Thank you for reading. We will begin on C 1 v3 tomorrow. Love you all.

Revelation or ??????

Good morning everyone!! Another great day to be alive in the LORD JESUS CHRIST! I trust you memorial weekend was great and safe. God is good all the time, all the time God is good!

I asked last week if anyone was interested in doing a study on Revelations. Either you don't care, or are deleting the emails as the responses ranged from zero to nil. So, unless I receive some responses to the contrary I will begin Revelations tomorrow.

Question 1 - How would you rate your understanding of Revelations from 1-being the least to 10 understanding fully.

What would you like to learn from this study?

When you think about the future of the world are you potimistic or pessiistic? Why?

Okay, just for reading. Jeremiah 13: 1-10 "This is what the LORD said to me, "Go and buy a linen loincloth and put it on, but do not wash it. So I bought the loincloth as the LORD directed me and I put it on. then the LORD gave me another message. Take the linen loincloth you are wearing and go to the Euphrates River. Hide it there in a hole in the rocks. So I went and hid it by the Euphrates as the LORD had instructed me.
A long time afterward the LORD said to me, Go back to the Euphrates and get the loincloth I told you to hide there. So I went to the Euphrates and dug it out of the hole where I had hidden it. But now it was rotting and falling apart. The loincloth was good for nothing.
Then I received this message from the LORD. This is what the LORD says. this shows how I will rot away the pride of Judah and Jerusalem These wicked people refuse to listen to me. They stubbornly follow their own desires and worship other gods. Therefore, they will become like this loincloth - good for nothing!"

Good food for thought. Have a super day. Love you all.

WISDOM

Good morning everyone!! Another great day to be aware of your surroundings and know THERE IS A GOD. God is good all the time, all the time God is good.

We have been talking about the immoral woman and if you continue to read in Proverbs 7 another chapter talks about this immoral woman and what will happen if we are trapped in the snare she sets. Then, chapter 8 begins with wisdom.

Proverbs 8:1 "Listen as Wisdom calls out! Hear as understanding raises her voice!

Wisdom's call is contrasted to the call of the immoral woman. Wisdom is portrayed as a woman who guides us (Pro 8:1-13) and makes us succeed (8:14-21). Wisdom was present at the Creation and works with the Creator (8:22-31). God approves of those who listen to Wisdom's counsel (8:32-35). Those who hate wisdom love death (8:36). Wisdom should affect every aspect of one's life, from beginning to end. Be sure to open all corners of your life to God's direction and guidance.

Memorial weekend is upon us, take time, ask God's forgiveness, then ask for His wisdom to be ever present; leading you in each of your daily decisions. We will listen to trite inaccurate information and hear it as truth, yet not listen to the word of God! THE TRUTH!! What is wrong with this picture? Thank you for reading with me today.

May you all have a safe and wonderful memorial weekend. God's speed. Love you all.

Better to be a thief.......

Good morning everyone! Another great day to be alive in the Lord Jesus Christ!! God is good all the time, all the time God is good. Some were surprised at the writings yesterday, the immoral woman or prostitute. This is in Proverbs 6 and Jesus said if we lust in the heart we have committed sin. Be careful.

Proverbs 6:30-35 "Excuses might be found for a thief who steals because he is starving. But if he is caught, he must pay back seven times what he stole, even if he has to sell everything in his house. But the man who commits adultery is an utter fool, for he destroys himself. He will be wounded and disgraced. His shame will never be erased. For the woman's jealous husband will be furious, and he will show no mercy when he takes revenge. He will accept no compensation, nor be satisfied with a payoff of any size."

Wow! We can excuse the thief, however, he must pay back how many times? Seven! So, he steals 1 loaf of bread he must pay back 7 loaves. Even if he has to sell all he has he will make the situation right. But what about the man who commits adultery?

Some people may argue that it is all right to break God's law against sexual sin if nobody gets hurt. The reality is, someone always get hurt. With adultery the spouses are devastated and the children are scarred. The emotional scars are deeper than the physical. Even if no disease or pregnancy occurs, the element of trust and the ability to be completely open to another will be altered.

God's laws are not arbitrary. They do not forbid good, clean fun. Instead, they warn us against destroying ourselves through unwise actions. Take time, LET GO - LET GOD! Thank you for reading. Feedback please-any one interested in a study in Revelations? Please let me know so I can get all my commentaries together. Love ya'll!

A little sex, a lot of SIN!

Good morning everyone! Another wonderful day to be alive in the Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ! Ask for forgiveness, then wisdom, knowledge, and guidance. God is good all the time, all the time God is good!

Proverbs 6:25-29 "Don't lust for her beauty. Don't let her coy glances seduce you. For a prostitute will bring you to poverty, but sleeping with another man's wife will cost you your life. Can a man scoop a flame into his lap and not have his clothes catch on fire? Can he walk on hot coals and not blister his feet? So it is with the man who sleeps with another man's wife. he who embraces her will not go unpunished."
These are very strong words coming to us from Proverbs. The prostitute will bring poverty, but another man's wife will bring death. When a man lays with another woman outside of his marriage many are hurt. It is all done in lust, but the fruit of lust is pain for others.

The consequences of a man yielding to a woman are severe. The man who pursues the adulteress is like a man who is carrying fire in his clothes. Can this be done without a man's clothes buring from his body?

Can a man walk on hot coals without buring his feet? The answer is an obvious NO. Adultery is simply playing with fire. The amn who plays with the fire of adultery will not continue in innocence.

No exceptions exist! Such a man will not go unpunished. So what does one do? Go straight to GOD. Ask for forgiveness, a clean heart and mind and soul. Let God lead your footsteps. Our world is caught up with the sensual, sexual, and seductive movement so many see no wrong with multiple partners or sleeping around.

We need to be strong in our prayer life for ourselves, people around us, community, and nation. I have been a victim of sin, how about you? Take time to pray with me now. Thank you. Love you all.

Lust not, lest you fall

Good morning everyone! Another super day to be alive in Jesus Christ! God is good all the time, all the time God is good.

We have been talking about the words of our parents, the wisdom and knowledge they share with us. We should tie the words around our neck and be aware of them daily. Stay away from the immoral woman, the smooth talking, the lies, the sins the world would like us to enjoy.

Proverbs 6:24,25 "It will keep you from the immoral woman, from the smooth tongue of a promiscuous woman. Don't lust for her beauty. Don't let her coy glances seduce you."

Proverbs 5:3 "For the lips of an immoral woman are as sweet as honey, and her mouth is smoother than oil."

Regard lust as a warning sign of danger ahead. When you notice that you are attracted to a person of the opposite sex or preoccupied with thoughts of him or her, your desires may lead you to sin. Ask God to help you change your desires before you are drawn into sin.

Are you watching and listening to your warning signs? Are you taking the detour or are you plunging straight ahead? Stop! Drop! Pray! Ask God for guidance. Thank you for reading with me today. Love you all.

Lamp of instruction

Good morning everyone!! I trust the weekend was wonderful. God is good all the time, all the time God is good. Yes!

Proverbs 6:23 "For their command is a lamp and their instruction a light; their corrective discipline is the way of life." In the Kings James version, "For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:"
The commandments and teachings of parents should be highly treasured and worn over the heart like an expensive locket or ring which hangs from a necklace. The purpose of these teachings will be a lamp pointing the proper direction for the journey.

"The life of the godly is full of light and joy, but the light of the wicked will be snuffed out." Proverbs 13:9

Where do you sit today? Are you doing things "your way?" Or are you heeding the instructions of your parents and God? One way is a high way with some trials, the other is the low way, with lots of turns, bumps, and challenges. It is our choice and God lets us choose. God, the Father, is just like us; we want the best for our children and are sad when they go another way.

May your path be high and your focus on God. Thank you for reading with me today. Love you all.

Does God hate?

Good morning everyone! God is good all the time, all the time God is good!! Now is not the time to look around, Obama, Pelosi, Gov. Perry, locally, at Hollywood. Now is the time to look up! Look up for guidance from the all powerful God. Keep focused! Stay in tune with the Lord God Almighty.

God does hate. In Proverbs there are 14 things God hates and let me share these with you. I will give you the scripture and you get to open your Bible and view each one. Please don't let this be your only touch with the Bible each day.

Okay, here we go. God hates:

violent people........Proverbs 3:31,32
Haughtiness, lying, murdering, scheming,
eagerness to do wrong, a false witness, stirring up discord..Proverbs 6:16-19
Those who are untruthful........Proverbs 12:22
The sacrifice of the wicked.....Proverbs 15:8
The way of the wicked...........Proverbs 15:9
Evil plans......................Proverbs 15:26
Those who are proud.............Proverbs 16:5
Those who judge unjustly........Proverbs 17:15

Please take time to look these up. It will only take 2 minutes. These tell what God detests, and it tells what he likes. 15:8 God detests the sacrifice of the wicked but HE DELIGHTS in the prayers of the upright. This is uplifting. Thanks for reading. Love you all.

I sound like my parent.......

Good morning everyone!! I hope this is a wonderful day in our Lord Jesus Christ for you. God is good all the time, all the time God is good.

Proverbs 6:20-23 "My son, obey your father's commands, and don't neglect your mother's instruction. Keep their words always in your heart. Tie them around your neck. When you walk, their counsel will lead you. When you sleep, they will protect you. When you wake up, they will advise you."

Have you noticed in your life, as you gain age, you also find yourself saying, "oh my gosh, I sound just like my mother/father." Amazing, huh? Re-read the scripture.

It is natural and good for children, as they grow toward adulthood, to become increasingly independent of their parents. Young adults, however, should take care not to turn a deaf ear to their parents - to reject their advice just when it is needed most. If you are struggling with a decision or looking for insight, check with your parents or other older adults who know you well. Their years of experience may have given them the wisdom you seek.

A conversation between me and one of my daughters was why won't you listen to me? I can save you a lot of anguish and heartache. The reply back was very simple, and I do believe we do this to God, "Dad, I hear you and listen, but sometimes you just have to experience it for yourself." True, but when dealing with God's word, we are better off to heed the first time. Thank you for reading. Love you all.

Members of the "DRAMA" Club

Good morning everyone!! Another great day to serve the LORD! God is good all the time, all the time God is good.

Proverbs 6:12-15 "What are worthless and wicked people like? They are constant liars, signaling their deceit with a wink of the eye, a nudge of the foot, or the wiggle of fingers. Their perverted hearts plot evil, and they constantly stir up trouble. But they will be destroyed suddenly, broken in an instant beyond all hope of healing."

We are not to judge, but we are to test and see. We are not condemning them to an eternal fate, however we are judging whether they are Christian associates or friends of the world.

Constant liars-using false or distorted facts to achieve one goal. Wink, nudge or wiggle are deceptive traits used. They are not content unless they are creating unrest among the people around them. In todays world we refer to this as "drama."

They will be destroyed suddenly, broken in an instant beyond all hope of healing. Does this mean no forgiveness from God? This is referring to one whose hearts has hardened to the point of no return. They would rather spit on God and His words than hear or be near anything representing the presence of God.

Watch for these people, be aware of their presence, pray for them. Tomorrow 7 things God hates. Thank you for reading. Love you all.

Get up lazybones - go to work!

Good morning everyone!! Another great day to be alive in Jesus! God is good all the time, all the time God is good!

Proverbs 6:6-11 KJV "Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways and be wise: Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest. How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? When wilt thou arise out of thy sleep? Yet a little sleep,a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep; so shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man."

Wow!! Are you lazy, won't get up in the morning, don't like to work? Watch out!

Those last few moments of sleep are delicious, we savor them as we resist beginning another workday. But Proverbs warns against giving in to the temptation of laziness, of sleeping instead of working.

This does not mean we should never rest; God gave the Jews the Sabbath, a weekly day of rest and restoration. But we should not rest when we should be working.

The ant is used as an example because it utilizes its energy and resources economically. If laziness turns us from our responsibilities, poverty may soon bar us from the legitimate rest we should enjoy.

Reread this and contemplate it for a few moments. Great wisdom! Thank you for reading with me today. Love you all.

Lessons for Daily Life

Good morning everyone!! How are you today? God is good all the time, all the time God is good!! Let's look at Proverbs 6.

Proverbs 6:1-5 "My child, if you have put up security for a friend's debt or agreed to guarantee the debt of a stranger- if you have trapped yourself by your agreement and are caught by what you said - follow my advice and save yourself, for you have placed yourself at your friend's mercy. Now swallow your pride; go and beg to have your name erased. Don't put it off, do it now! Don't rest until you do. Save yourself like a gazelle escaping from a hunter, like a bird fleeing from a net."

These verses are not a plea against generosity, but against overesxtending one's financial resources and acting in irresponsible ways that could lead to poverty.

It is important to maintain a balance between generosity and good stewardship. God wants us to help our friends and the needy, but he does not promise to cover the costs of every unwise commitment we make. We should also act responsibly so that our families do not suffer.

Often it is hard not to help family or close friends. God wants us all to be a great example for Him, showing a kind, loving and giving spirit. God also wants us to have wisdom and knowledge. The wisdom to know when to assist and the knowledge to make wise decisions. Thank you for reading with me today. Love you all.

HIS eyes are upon you

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! God is good all the time, all the time God is good. This week we have been talking about staying away from the immoral woman and cherishing the wife of our youth.

Proverbs 5:21-23 KJV "For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and he pondereth all his goings. His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be holden with the cords of his sins. He shall die without instruction; and in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray."

First, in verse 21 - everything, EVERYTHING you do is "before the eyes of the LORD." You cannot hide anything from God. You can hide it from me, your spouse, your best friend, but GOD always sees and knows.

The LORD ponders all the goings of man and has assigned bitter and severe consequences to the sin of sexual promiscuity. Sexual sin ruthlessly incarcerates the participants. The cords of this sin wrap themselves around the very soul of the participant until he cannot free himself, even though he may desire freedom. Think of the small child who takes a cookie and was told not to. He knows not, but gives way to the temptation. The consequences for this is minor compared to what GOD will hand out--justly.

Verse 23 says he will die for lack of self-control. He will be lost because of his great foolishness. His great sins have led him beyond the reach of God's grace. Where do you sit today? Our Father in heaven is watching! Again, where do you sit today? Thank you for reading today. Love you all.

Rejoice in your wife!

Good morning everyone! This is the National Day of Prayer! Take time out, ask God for forgiveness for yourself, then pray for others, community, state, nation and world. God is good all the time, all the time God is good!

Proverbs 5:18-20 KJV "Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth. Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe; let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; and be thou ravished always with her love. And why wilt thou, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of a stranger?
The ecstatic joy of the lover is summed up in the word ravished. The hind and roe have always been chosen by the Oriental poets as figures of human beauty because of their grace, speed, and lustrous eyes. Wisdom does not regret the sexual pleasures that a man can find with the wife of his youth and marvels that in the face of such pleasure any would be so foolish as to embrace the fickle adulteress.

God never intended marriage to become boring, lifeless, and dull. Sex is a gift God gives to married people for their mutual enjoyment. Real happiness comes when we decide to find pleasure in the spouse God has given us and to commit ourselves to meeting his or her needs. The real danger is in doubting that God knows and cares for us. We then may resent his timing and carelessly pursue sexual pleasure without his blessing.

Take time, tell your spouse how much you do indeed appreciate him or her. Thank you for reading. Love you all

Cherish your wife and value the water

Good morning everyone! Another great day to be alive in the LORD JESUS CHRIST! WOW! What a blessing. God is good all the time, all the time God is good.

Proverbs 5:15-17 "Drink water from your own well -- share your love only with your wife. Why spill the water of your springs in the streets, having sex with just anyone? You should reserve it for yourselves. Never share it with strangers."Drink water from your own well is a picture of faithfulness in marriage. It means to enjoy the spouse God has given you. In desert lands, water is precious, and a well is a family's most important possession.

In Old Testament times, it was considered a crime to steal water from someone else's well, just as it was a crime to have intercourse with another person's spouse. In both cases, the offender endangers the health and security of family.

In contrast to much of what we read, see, and hear today, this passage urges couples to look to each other for life-long satisfaction and companionship. Lust, and taking action on lustful thoughts are great tools for satan. A moment of satisfaction, or life-long satisfaction as God commands us? Thank you for reading with me today. Love you all.

Ready to face SIN?

Good morning everyone!! A wonderful day to be alive in Jesus! God is good all the time, all the time God is good. Okay, talking about falling to sin - failing in the word.

Proverbs 5:11-14 "In the end you will groan in anguish when disease consumes your body. You will say, "How I hated discipline! If only I had not ignored all the warnings! Oh, why didn't I listen to my teachers? Why didn't I pay attention to my instructors? I have come to the brink of utter ruin and now I must face public disgrace."
Wow! Heavy words! At the end of your life, it will be too late to ask for advice. When desire is fully activated, people don't want advice - THEY WANT SATISFACTION!

The best time to learn the dangers and foolishness of going after forbidden sex, or anything else that is harmful, is long before the temptation comes. Resistance is easier if the decision has already been made.

Don't wait to see what happens. Prepare for temptation by deciding now how you will act when you face it.

Don't forget, your most powerful tool is prayer and depending on Jesus. Get thee behind me satan. Thank you for reading. Love you all.

All you have may be lost

Good morning everyone!! Another great day to worship and praise God. God is good all the time, all the time God is good. Take time, ask forgiveness for yourself, then set a goal this week. Invite at least: 1 person to church; 1 person to hear about Jesus and salvation; 1 person to spend some quiet fellowship with you.

Last week we were talking about not straying, not following the prostitute, to stay away from "her." Who is your "prostitue?" Maybe lust, money, material things, status, or what? We begin where we were warned about what would happen if we fall to the prostitue.

Proverbs 5:9,10 "If you do, you will lose your honor and will lose to merciless people all you have achieved. Strangers will consume your wealth, and someone else will enjoy the fruit of your labor."
Think about this! The only "real" thing you have to pass on that will last is your HONOR. If you fall, all your hard-earned gains will wind up in the hands of the prostitue or her associates. Consider that the best years of your life will be given unto this cruel temptress and her associates whose sole object is plunder.

Did you, or will you take time for God today? You will have time to read the paper, to read a magazine, to have a "smoke break," but no time for the only one who can give you eternal life, everlasting peace! What is wrong with this picture?

You answer the question, it is between you and God. Thank you for reading today. Love you all.

Take the Detour

Good morning!! What a great day to be alive in JESUS CHRIST!! Enjoy your quiet time with God. Have you taken time, 60 seconds, 2 minutes, 5, 10 or more? We can talk to God daily, constantly, anytime. HE is an on time, all around, all present God! God is good all the time, all the time God is good!

Proverbs 5:7-8 So now, my sons, listen to me. Never stray from what I am about to say: (8)Stay away from her! Don't go near the door of her house!" Solomon advises that the young man keep away from the adulteress. "Come not nigh the door of her house." Any person should be on guard against those who use flattery and smooth talk (lips that are as sweet as honey) that would lead us astray or into sin. The best advice is to take a detour and even avoid converesation with such people.

But, shouldn't we witness to these people, try to bring them to God? Yes, BUT, only when, as a Christian, you are mature enough to do so without falling into the snare. Mature enough? Yes, where God is the leading and guiding force in your life. When you know God is leading you to witness to the adulteress you will win, otherwise you will sin.

Let go, Let God. Thank you for reading with me today. Love you all.
