Are you committed?? To Christ???

Good morning all!! Yes, yes, yes, a wonderful, cool, fall morning!!! God is good all the time, all the time God is good!!
You know, God is committed......committed to you, me, our neighbor, friends, family, and on and on. If HE was not....what is the purpose for living? If God was not, the purpose for living would be the big "I". Without God you may as well live for yourself.....why? Because if there is not God then it is very simple....we live-we die-end of story.

Aren't you glad God is committed to us?? Being committed is God's job to us and our job to God!! Don't be half-hearted about your commitment. Just think if God was half-hearted. Okay, He'll help this morning....BUT....doesn't want to do anything in the afternoon. Wow!! What kind of god would that be??

The Bible says to be either hot or cold....but if we are lukewarm we will be spewed from His mouth. Half-hearted is lukewarm. Don't be half-hearted...go forth with great vigor!! There is NOTHING....repeat.... NOTHING greater than our GOD!! NOTHING more important!! If we don't commit to God what are we committing to?? Lucifer, the Devil, Satan...that's who!!

1 Corinthians 9:24 "In a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize. You also must run is such a way that you will win."

Why run if only one gets the prize? You missed the point, you believe and you run in such a way as you expect to win. Don't give up.

1 Corinthians 9:25"Every athlete in training submits to strict discipline, in order to be crowned with a wreath that will not last; but we do it for one that will last forever."
co
What does this tell you? We are running for a crown that will not rust, rot, ruin in any way. How great is that!!!! We do not have to win God, just step out in faith, and may we all be passionately committed so that my life will honor you.

Are you lucky? OR Are you chosen???

Good morning everyone. I hope this is a great day in the Lord for you. Are you lucky??? Or are you just chosen???? Is there luck??? Or is it in God's plan?? God is good all the time.....all the time, God is good!!
Ephesians 3:10 "God's purpose in all this was to use the church to display his wisdom in its rich variety to all the unseen rulers and authorities in the heavenly places."
The 'rulers and authorities in the heavenly pplaces' are eighter angels who are witnesses to these events or hostile spiritual forces opposed to God.
Ephesians 3:12 "Because of Christ and our faith in him, we can now come boldly and confidently into God's presence."
It is an awesome privilege to be able to approach God with freedom and confidence. Most of us would be apprehensive in the presence of a powerful ruler. But thanks to Christ by faith we can enter directly into God's presence through prayer. We know we'll be welcomed with open arms because we are God's children through our union with Christ. Don't be afraid of God. talk with Him about everything. He is waiting to hear from you.
We don't have to walk in fear. The hostile spiritual forces or demons oppose God, oppose God's people, but we just have to remember that the demons tremble when we rebuke them in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. When troubles arise, just cast your eyes toward heaven, the home of our Heavenly Father, who is our saving grace.
Take time today, right now if you have to, to thank God for all you have and most of all your salvation. Thank you for reading. Love you all.

Courage, Prayer, Diligence

Good morning everyone!! I trust this will be a great day in the Lord
Jesus Christ for the Kingdom of God which is yet to come. Wow!!! An
awesome God, what a day, so many things are being laid on my heart, and
they are all talking to me. In revealing my study this morning I just
pray that you gain from it as must as I have. Remember, God is good all
the time, all the time God is good!! I will not try to be lengthy.....be
prepared!! LOL
1 CHRONICLES 28:20 "THEN DAVID CONTINUED,'BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS, AND DO THE WORK. DON'T BE AFRAID OR DISCOURAGED, FOR THE LORD GOD, MY GOD, IS WITH YOU. HE WILL NOT FAIL YOU OR FORSAKE YOU. HE WILL SEE TO IT THAT ALL THE WORK RELATEDTO THE TEMPLE OF THE LORD IS FINISHED CORRECTLY.'"
David advised Solomon not to be frightened about the size of his task
as king and builder of the Temple. Fear can immobilize us. The size
of a job, its risks, or the pressure of the situation can cause us to
freeze and do nothing. One remedy for fear is found here. Don't focus
on the fear, instead, get to work. Getting started is often the most
difficult and frightening part of a job.
OKAY, an exerpt from Jeff Wells, pastor at Woodsedge in Woodlands
Now PRAYER!! Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words
may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the
gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may
declare it fearlessly, as I should. Ephesians 6:19-20
Sometimes Paul amazes me.
Paul is in a Roman prison. He's writing to a much-loved church where he
spent three years. At the end of his letter, he asks these brothers and
sisters to pray for him. And what does Paul request?
The biggest longing of Paul's heart, the one thing that he wanted
prayer for from the Ephesian Christians, was that he would have courage
to preach the gospel. "Please pray for me that I would be fearless in
proclaiming Christ's gospel!'
I think Paul was so God-centered, so Christ-intoxicated, so
kingdom-oriented, that even when he was in a Roman prison bound by
chains, he was more concerned with Christ's cause than with his own
comfort.
Now back to a word from Johnny Holcomb.
Diligence!!! "NOW WE WANT EACH OF YOU TO DEMONSTRATE THE SAME DILIGENCE FOR THE FIANL REALIZATION OF YOUR HOPE, SO THAT YOU WON'T BECOME LAZY, BUT IMITATORS OF THOSE WHO INHERIT THE PROMISES THROUGH FAITH AND PERSEVERANCE." Hebrews 6:11-12
As we study the Bible, we are confronted again and again with God's
intention that we, as believers in Christ, lead disciplined lives. God
does not reward laziness nor does He praise mediocrity. To the
contrary, He expects us to be disciplined, diligent, and faithful to His
commandments. As we begin this day, let us remember that God rewards
diligence. And let us act accordingly.
Thank you for reading with me today. Love you all.
