Are you Christian or religious? 1 Corinthians 11:2

Good morning everyone! God is good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!

What is happening in your world today? Are you thanking Jesus for all that happens? Things of great joy and items of despair? Well, from yesterday did you imitate Paul as he imitated Christ? What was your day like? Why did Paul say imitate me? Paul was not being arrogant, he did not think of himself as sinless. At this point in time the Corinthians believers did not know much about the life and ministry of Christ. The Gospels were yet to be written and the only example they had was Paul. Paul knew how to imitate Jesus, Paul could walk the walk and talk the talk.

We encounter many "Corinthians" in our daily walk. These people may be as the Corinthians and going through the empty motions of being "religious" but do not have Jesus in their hearts. So??? What are you going to do? The best way to direct these people in the right direction is through a Christian whom they trust and can see Jesus in them. That Christian may be YOU! Are you able to say, as Paul did in 1 Corinthians 11:2 I am so glad that you always keep me in your thoughts, and that you are following the teachings I passed on to you."

If asked are you Christ-like, would your answer be guilty?!? If not, what do you plan to do about it? If so, what do you plan to do about it? Teach, share the word, it is the truth and truth never changes. Let your interpretations be true and guided by the Spirit. When standing before the Bema seat may your rewards be many. Love you all. "SIR, WE WOULD SEE JESUS!"

Temptations - how to resist 1 Corinthians 10:12,13

Good morning everyone. God is good all the time, all the time God is good. TOO BLESSED TO BE STRESSED!

How are you doing today? Ready to meet the world which is full of temptations which may lead you astray? We have to remember to look up, bow down, and humbly come to the LORD our GOD.

1 Corinthians 10:12,13 "If you think you are standing strong, be careful not to fall. The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure."

With all that is happening, has happened, and is going to happen in todays world we need to be aware of the temptations. We live in a culture filled with moral depravity and sin inducing pressures.

Paul tells us this about temptations (while talking to the Corinthians): 1-temptation happens to everyone, you are not being singled out; 2-others have resisted temptation and you can also; and 3-any temptation can be resisted because God will show you a way out.

God will help you: 1- recognize those people and situations that give you trouble; 2-run from anything you know is wrong; 3-choose to do only what is right; 4-pray for God's help; and 5-seek friends who love God and can offer help when you are tempted.

Running from a tempting situation is your first step to victory. 2 Timothy 2:22 "Run from anything that stimulates youthful lusts. Instead, pursue righteous living, faithfulness, love, and peace. Enjoy the companionship of those who call on the LORD with pure hearts."

Love you all.

Following Jesus

Good morning everyone!! Another great day. Sorry to miss you yesterday. Please pray for the people around you. Pray for safe passage, safe work environment, protective day, and that they will look UP and see GOD, the only thing in our life that does not change.

1 Peter 2:21 "For God called you to do good, even if it means suffering, just as Christ suffered for you. He is your example, and you must follow in his steps."

Christ suffered an enormous amount of pain for us, we are not necessarily called to suffer this way, but in other ways. Do good! Some of our suffering is because of our sin, some due to foolishness, all because we live in a fallen world. We, as Christians may do good - yet suffer. This is okay. Christians are the butt of many jokes and ridicule. And??????

Are you following Jesus? Or do you stray frequently? We will stray, but if we stray consistently we need to take time to visit with our Father in Heaven. Take time now to just ask God for guidance, wisdom, knowledge, and to follow JESUS! Thank you for reading. Love you all!

Does Christ come out of you??

Hello and Merry Christmas!! I may not be able to get on the air Monday,
Christmas Eve, so Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Does Jesus come out
of you in all things. Read what Max Lucado says.

Daily Devotional by Max Lucado
"the One who came still comes and the One who spoke still speaks"

December 18 I work…using Christ’s great strength that works so
powerfully in me. Colossians 1:29

The virgin birth is more, much more, than a Christmas story; it is a
picture of how close Christ will come to you. The first stop on his
itinerary was a womb. Where will God go to touch the world? Look deep
within Mary for an answer.

Better still, look deep within yourself. What he did with Mary, he
offers to us! He issues a Mary-level invitation to all his children. “If
you’ll let me, I’ll move in!”…

What is the mystery of the gospel? “Christ in you, the hope of glory”
(Col. 1:27 NIV)….

Christ grew in Mary until he had to come out. Christ will grow in you
until the same occurs. He will come out in your speech, in your actions,
in your decisions.
Every place you live will be a Bethlehem, and every day you live will
be a Christmas. You, like Mary, will deliver Christ into the world.

Next Door Savior Max Lucado

Thank you for reading with me, and again, MERRY CHRISTMAS!! Love you all!

If I am tempted I will..........

Good morning!! Well, the weekend, then Christmas eve, then Christmas day, and then we start looking forward 366 days (next year is leap year) to the next Christmas. Yea. God is good all the time, all the time, God is good.

Okay, continuing on with Jesus' life from christiananswers.net - here we go. Remember, Jesus had been baptized by John the Baptist. Here we pick up with Jesus.

Then, after Jesus spent forty days in the desert, Satan, who had successfully tempted Eve in the Garden, tried ways of tempting Jesus--but Jesus would not sin.

Finally, Satan took Jesus to an especially high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. Then Satan said, "All these things I will give to you, if you will fall down and worship me."

Jesus answered, "Get away from me, Satan: because God has written that, you shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only shall you serve."

While Jesus, the son of God, lived on earth in the form of a man, He was tempted in all the same ways we are, yet He never sinned.

So, where Adam failed, Jesus succeeded. This showed that Jesus indeed could be the Savior of mankind--the lamb sent from God.

Okay, a question to ponder, is our (my) faith strong enough to resist temptation, and if not will we (I) call upon God for strength? Thank you for reading today. Merry Christmas!! Love you all!!

Jesus, the emulsifier!!

Good morning everyone! I hope this is a great in the LORD Jesus Christ for you. God is good, all the time--all the time God is good! I heard Dr. Tony Evans in Dallas yesterday and he was very good.

Jesus said in John 14:6 ".......I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."

Oil and water don't mix. To get them to mix as in mayonaise you have to have an emulsifier, an egg. This emulsifier pulls the oil and water together to work together, and you have the desired outcome.

We have sin on our right, righteousness on our left, they won't come together, they don't mix. So, how can they mix, with an emulsifier. How in the world can you mix sin with righteousness? The blood of Christ is the emulsifier. Christ came, shed his blood and died so that we may be saved.

Jesus Christ is our emulsifier. Sin on the right- righteousness on the left - Jesus Christ shedding His blood in the middle and what do you get?

S A L V A T I O N !! A N E W L I F E I N J E S U S !!

Thank you God for sending your Son Jesus! May you tell someone about Jesus today! You are clean, white, because of Jesus! Thank you for reading today. Love you all!

Good morning all!! Did you think about the "soap box" I threw out yesterday? Who are you supporting? Your own desires? The desires of this world? Or are you standing up boldly for Christ?
There is the opposite view, that Jesus is okay with all that is going on at Christmas time, that this time of year was really a pagan festival that we turned Christian. I am not arguing that, I simply believe that when we let one thing be watered down, then more will be watered down. Then we move away from the right to the wrong, from the moral to the immoral, all which is taught to us through the Bible.
Philippians 1:20-21 "For I fully expect and hope that I will never be ashamed, but that I will continue to be bold for Christ, as I have been in the past. And I trust that my life will bring honor to Christ, whether I live or die. (21) For to me, living means living for Christ, and dying is even better."
To those who don't believe in God, life on earth is all there is, and so it is natural for them to strive for this world's valuses, money, popularity, power, pleasure, and prestige.
For Paul, to live meant to develop eternal values and to tell others about Christ, who alone could help them see life from an eternal perspective. Paul's whole purpose in life was to speak out boldly for Christ and to become more like him. Paul could confidently say that dying would be even better than living, because in death he would be removed from worldly troubles, and he would see Christ face to face (1 John 3:2,3)
Are you going boldly forward for Christ? Does living mean living for Christ? Will you tell someone about Jesus today? Thank you for reading with me today. Love you all.

Christmas or Xmas??? That is the question!!

Good morning everyone!! Yes, a lovely day to be alive in Jesus Christ,
our LORD and savior. God is good, all the time, all the time, God is
good!

Okay, today, a little bit of soapbox and concern. Isaiah 53:7 "He was
oppressed and treated harshly, yet he never said a word. He was led
like a lamb to the slaughter. And as a sheep is silent before the
shearers, he did not open his mouth.
In the old testament people offered animals as sacrifices for their
sins. Here, the sinless servant of the LORD offers himself for our sins.
He is the Lamb offered for the sins of all people. The Messiah suffered
for our sake, bearing our sins to make us acceptable to God.

What can we say to such love? How will we respond to him?

In Acts 8:32 The eunuch is reading scripture and not understanding,
Phillip explains and leads him to Christ.
Acts 8:32 "He was led like a
sheep to the slaughter. And as a lamb is silent before the shearers, he
did not open his mouth." The same as Isaiah. Now, I do apologize for
this being a little long, please bear with me.

We are in the "holiday season" which in the past, and Christians refer to as the Christmas season. There are stores who WILL NOT USE
CHRISTMAS, they skirt the issue and use generic terms like "holiday"
"season" "family tree"(Lowes) and on and on. Some do not allow bell
ringers at their stores. SOoooooo, what's the big deal?

Well, nothing if Christmas is simply Xmas to you. But if you keep
Christ in Christmas then it is a big deal! We, Christians, are
supporting the pulling away from Christ in Christmas when we remain
silent and do not speak up for Christ our Saviour. Just like the Bible
talks about Christ going to the cross.....who stood up for Jesus? Jesus
did!! Did Peter? Did any of the disciples?

Well, we are crucifying Christmas if we don't speak up. To not speak up is to support what is going on in the retail world. The retail world is very interested in $$$$$$$, not you and your saviour. We are crucifying Christ again by not speaking up. When we do not speak up against, then, by our silence we are standing for!! Think about that!

If a retailer polls 1000 people and 250 Christians speak up and oppose the generic and commercialism of Christmas, and 250 Christians are silent what does this tell the retailer?
It simply says 250 against -750 for!
They don't break it down to Christian and non-Christian.
The let the numbers speak: 1000 - 250 against = 750 for!

I have attached retailers from Dr. Dobson's Focus of the Family that will give you an idea of who are in the Xmas spirit and who are in the Christmas spirit

You can go to www.family.org and click on the center
area about Christmas. Also, you can go to this address:
http://www.citizenlink.org/pdfs/fosi/Attack_on_Christmas_2007.pdf

Well thank you for listening to me today. Spread the joy of Jesus, don'twatch Christmas be slaughtered and become Xmas! Love you all.

What does your character reveal??

Top o' the morning to you! I hope this is a wonderful day in our LORD and saviour - Jesus Christ!!! Wow! Did you have a good or great experience over the weekend?? Many things happen and we wonder why. Stay in unity with the body of Christ - look for the good things!!

Okay, here are a couple of things to think about. John 17:10 "All who are mine belong to you, and you have given them to me, so they bring me glory." What is Jesus saying here? Have you thought about "they bring me glory."

God's glory is the revelation of his character and presence. The lives of Jesus' disciples reveal his character, and he is present to the world through them. Does your life reveal Jesus' character and presence??

Just stop and think before you get angry, before you shoot off your mouth without having your brain loaded, am I revealing Jesus' character and presence? When someone cuts you off in traffic, you cut someone off in traffic, is what you become angry about revealing Jesus?

It may be time to stop and reflect. Jesus prayed and still prays for us. We have much to be thankful for. My 13 year old nephew is in the hospital with a freak accident and has flash burns. Please pray for him - Houston is his name. Also, if anyone else has pray requests please send them and your request will be passed on to our prayer warriors.

Tomorrow, the second thought about Jesus prayer and desire for us. Thanks for reading. Have a wonderful, spirit filled day. Love you all.

Are you ENcouraging or DIScouraging????

Good morning everyone!!! What a wonderful day to be alive in Jesus!!! Did you tell someone about Jesus yesterday??? If someone was standing at the edge of a cliff, in a dangerous situation, and could fall to their death.....would you warn them to come back or try to pull them back???

What about the person who stands at the threshold of hell, won't you tell them about Jesus, to save them from death?? I cannot be hesitant or intimidated about speaking up about Jesus.

Oh, we get emails that say if you are ashamed of Jesus delete, but if not pass it on. Do we, as Christians, have to send email to make people feel guilty?? Why do we believe it is necessary to push people into doing something they may not believe necessary to send on.

Well, yes, if I get a great product I will tell others......I have a great "product" if you will......great news.....the good news of Jesus Christ. With the help of the Holy Spirit I will share this news.

Democrats who are Christians.....do you stand as strong for Jesus Christ as you do against George Bush??? Republicans who are Christians...do you stand as strong for Jesus Christ as you do against Hillary, Bill C., Obama?

1 Corinthians 14:3 "But one who prophesies strengthens others, encourages them, and comforts them." Prophesies here is telling others of the good news of Jesus.

Ephesians 4:29 "Don't use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be encouragement to those who hear them."

We can bring sorrow to the Holy Spirit by the way we live. Paul warns us against unwholesome language, bitterness, improper use of anger, harsh words, slander, and bad attitudes toward others. Instead of acting that way we should be forgiving just as God has forgiven us.

Are your actions and attitudes pleasing to God? Or bringing sorrow to God?? My love for the LORD and everything HE does for me becomes stronger by the day. Take time for Jesus, listen to some praise music, listen to some Christian talk radio...preaching. Let the "good news" fill your heart rather than the negative/bad news.

Thank you for reading with me today. As the song: "Open the eyes of my heart Lord, so that I may see you." Love you all

How can Jesus be seen through me???

Good morning!!! And the top of the morning to you....may God bless you through out this day. God is good all the time, all the time God is good. Today is the day the Lord has made let us rejoice and be glad.
1 Chronicles 28:20 "Be strong and of good courage, and di it; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the Lord God-my God- will be with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you, until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord."
How can we serve God? By sharing His message, His mercy, His love with those who cross our paths. Everywhere you look people are looking for "SOMETHING", why not let that something be God!!!! What do we have to do?

We have to love God, obey His commandments, trust His Son, and serve His children. When God is the center of our lives the world will see Jesus in us....demons will tremble.....and our servants heart will show through.
From Max Lucado, "In the great orchestra we call life, you have an instrument and a song, and you owe it to God to play them both sublimely."
When you become a better steward of the resources God has given you...He give you more resources to manage. Matthew 25:21 "Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your Lord."
This applies to our spiritual life, our family life, our professional life, may all you do today bring glory to God. Thank you for reading. Love you all.

Are you lucky? OR Are you chosen???

Good morning everyone. I hope this is a great day in the Lord for you. Are you lucky??? Or are you just chosen???? Is there luck??? Or is it in God's plan?? God is good all the time.....all the time, God is good!!
Ephesians 3:10 "God's purpose in all this was to use the church to display his wisdom in its rich variety to all the unseen rulers and authorities in the heavenly places."
The 'rulers and authorities in the heavenly pplaces' are eighter angels who are witnesses to these events or hostile spiritual forces opposed to God.
Ephesians 3:12 "Because of Christ and our faith in him, we can now come boldly and confidently into God's presence."
It is an awesome privilege to be able to approach God with freedom and confidence. Most of us would be apprehensive in the presence of a powerful ruler. But thanks to Christ by faith we can enter directly into God's presence through prayer. We know we'll be welcomed with open arms because we are God's children through our union with Christ. Don't be afraid of God. talk with Him about everything. He is waiting to hear from you.
We don't have to walk in fear. The hostile spiritual forces or demons oppose God, oppose God's people, but we just have to remember that the demons tremble when we rebuke them in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. When troubles arise, just cast your eyes toward heaven, the home of our Heavenly Father, who is our saving grace.
Take time today, right now if you have to, to thank God for all you have and most of all your salvation. Thank you for reading. Love you all.

What reflection do you see in the mirror?

Good morning everyone!!! What a wonderful day in the Lord Jesus Christ. Do you get tired of praise songs? Do you get tired of reading or studying your Bible? Have you looked in a mirror lately? God is good all the time.......all the time God is good!!!
Okay, there were some people from the back woods of a third world country who barely experienced civilization. One day the man went to the city in a nearby country. While he was there he went into a shop and was looking around. Suddenly he came upon a mirror, something he had never seen before. He had never seen his reflection. As he gazed in the mirror he saw his father. This made him happy.....very happy. Each time he looked in the mirror he saw his father.
When he returned home he took the mirror to a pub nearby. After he would get off work he would go to the pub just to gaze in the mirror and "see his father." His wife wondered what he was doing as this was not his common practice. So......she went down to the pub and asked the innkeeper what her husband did there each night. He told her he just came in and looked at the thing he brought back from the city and placed on the wall. Each time he gazed into it he would smile.
The wife went over, looked into the mirror, and, having never seen her own reflection blurted out, "So, this is the old hag he has been coming to see." What reflection do you see in the mirror? One of your "Father in Heaven" or one of a distorted view?
James 1:23-24 "For if you listen to the word and don't obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror, you see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like."
Then James 1:25 says, "But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what is says and don't forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it." Do you forget? What is your reflection to the world? One of Christ, or one of the world? Thank you for reading. Love you all.

Sole or Soul- Heel or Heal - Dye or Die?

Good morning everyone!! I hope and pray this is a great day in the Lord for you! God is good all the time, all the time God is good. Wow!! Are you counting your blessings today.
2 Thessalonians2:13-14 "As for us, we can't help but thank God for you, dear brothers and sisters loved by the Lord. We are always thankful that God chose you to be among the first to experience salvation - a salvation that came through the Spirit who makes you holy and through your belief in the truth. He called you to salvation when we told you the Good News, now you can share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ."
Okay, if you tell someone about Jesus today....enjoy the spirit and feeling it gives you. Let me ask you a question.....are you a cobbler of shoes or a believer of our holy cobbler?
What??? Okay, a cobbler saves soles.......a cobbler can heel you..... a cobbler will dye for you!! The difference....Jesus saves souls.......Jesus can heal you.......Jesus already died for you!!!! So, you have salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ.
The cobbler only did things which are here physically here, last for a season, then are gone. Jesus only did things for eternity, things that will last for a season...a season...a season...uh...eternity....forever!!
So, are you a cobbler who resoles, reheels, and dyes? OR, are you telling people who died to save souls and heals???
Jesus says it all!! Salvation!! The rapture: the only way to fly.Thank you for reading with me today. Love you all.

Are you a runaway??

Good morning!!! God's blessings to you!!! God is good all the time, all the time, God is good. Love you all!!! May today's words touch your heart. Just like the song: "open the eyes of my heart, Lord, open the eyes of my heart so that I may see you!!"
Philemon 2:10 "I appeal to you to show kindness to my child, Onesimus. I became his father in the faith while here in prison.(11) Onesimus hasn't been of much use to you in the past, but now he is very useful to both of us."
Okay, first, the name Onesimus means 'useful', which is not what Onesimus was at first. In ancient times a master had the legal right to kill a runaway slave, so Onesimus feared for his life. Paul wrote this letter to Philemon to help him understand his new relationship with Onesimus who was now a Christian brother, not a mere possession.
From his prison cell, Paul led Onesimus to the Lord. Paul asked Philemon to forgive his runaway slave who had become a Christian and even going beyond forgiveness to accept Onesimus as a brother.
As Christians we should forgive as we have been forgiven (Mat 6:12) Paul is sending Onesimus "useful", back to Philemon stating he has not been useful to either, but will be useful now. As brothers in Christ, he should be forgiven and work together.
Are you "Onesimus" - "useful" - for the kingdom of God? Or, are you a runaway? Too often we are runaways? Fortunately, we will be forgiven, but let's pray that we are "Onesimus" or "useful" for the kingdom of God.
Thank you for reading with me today. Love you all. May you be blessed through out the day and weekend. If we are slaves or prisoners, let us be prisoners or slaves of Jesus Christ, who gives us eternal life. Praise God!!

Do others see Jesus in you???

Good morning everyone!! I hope and pray this is a wonderful day in the Lord Jesus Christ for you. Do not forget who is large and in charge!! (from Bro Bill). God is good all the time, all the time God is good.
If you read the chilvary list yesterday you may find it interesting. So many times it refers back to the church, or being contrary to the church's word. We are here to serve others. Greater is he who serves than he who demands service.
Today we live in a world where power, prestige, fame, and money tend to rule and newsworthy. Brittany shaving her head; Paris going to jail; Bonds hitting homerun #756----these are all newsworthy. The young lad or lady who accepted Jesus Christ as his/her Lord and savior yesterday, last night, Sunday is not newsworthy in our society. Oh, yes, Paris "changed in jail" and had a religious experience. No, I am not judging, and I do pray that she did change, but the only reason this was broadcast is because of her wealth, power, and prestige.
Matthew 23:11 "but he who is greatest among you shall be your servant."
Proverbs 21:26 "the righteous give and don't hold back."
John 12:26 "If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor."
Chilvary, being kind, following God's word, let Jesus Christ shine through YOU!!! Yes, we may fall short, but don't quit!! God is there for us always. I try to live my life so that others see Jesus Christ from my walk. I also try to do this in my professional life. If people see Christ through me, I will bring honor to my God, to my company, and may touch lives for the kingdom of God---eternal life.
Do I fall short??? Yes, many times, temptations lay in wait, just wanting to snare me, you, everyone!! Do we fall, yes! But don't just lay there, get up, cast your eyes heavenward and ask for forgiveness and guideness. May we all tell someone about Jesus today and touch more lives than we can imagine. Thank you for reading. Love you all.

How do you do your work?????

Good morning everyone!!! I had trouble with internet, sorry I am late. God is good, all the time, all the time, God is good!!! Have you had things happen when you think you are working in the will of the Lord??? This happened to me yesterday and we ask why??? There is a reason, our reaction should be that there is something better waiting. Too often we do the woe is me act and want to feel sorry for ourselves. That is great!!!! For Satan......to take the joy out of all God does for us. I had to stop and look up......remembering GOD IS IN CONTROL!!!
Okay, enough of my woe. Galatians 6:4-6 "PAY CAREFUL ATTENTION TO YOUR OWN WORK, FOR THEN YOU WILL GET THE SATISFACTION OF A JOB WELL DONE AND YOU WON'T NEED TO COMPARE YOURSELF TO ANYONE ELSE. (5) FOR WE ARE EACH RESPONSIBLE FOR OUR OWN CONDUCT. (6) THOSE WHO ARE TAUGHT THE WORD OF GOD SHOULD PROVIDE FOR THEIR TEACHERS, SHARING ALL GOOD THINGS WITH THEM."
What is being said here? vs 4-5 When you do your very best, you feel good about the results. There is no need to compare yourself with others. People make comparisons for many reasons. Some point out others' flaws in order to feel better about themselves. Others simply want reassurance that they are doing well. When you are tempted to compare, look at Jesus Christ. His example will inspire you to do your very best and his loving acceptance will comfort you when you fall short of your expectations.
vs 6 Paul says that students should take care of the material needs of their teachers (I Corinthians 9:7-12). It is easy to receive the benefit of good Bible teaching and then to take our spiritual leaders for granted, ignoring their financial and physical needs. We should care for our teachers, not grudgingly or reluctantly, but with a generous spirit, showing honor and appreciation for all they have done (I Timothy 5:17,18).
Do you take care of your tithing? Are you being responsible for all God has given you? Is your church profiting from your time, talents, etc. Thank you for listening....uh....reading. Love you all!!

Did you touch someone yesterday??? JESUS DID!!

Good morning everyone!!!! I hope this is a great day in the Lord Jesus Christ!!! God is good, all the time---all the time, God is good!!!
So what do you think?? Did you touch someone yesterday for Jesus????Jesus touched all kinds of people.....healed them.....but listen to this. The demons recognize Jesus....they tremble at the sound of HIS name.
Matthew 5:1-15 "...........When jesus was still some distance away, the man saw him, ran to meet him, and bowed low before him. With a shriek, he screamed, "Why are you interfering with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? In the name of God I beg you, don't torture me!!" For Jesus had already said to the spirit, "Come out of this man, you evil spirit." Then Jesus demanded, "What is your name?" And he replied, "My name is Legion, because there are many of us inside this man." Then the evil spirits begged him again, and again not to send them to some distant place. There happened to be a large herd of pigs feeding on the hillside nearby. "Send us into those pigs," the spirits begged. "Let us enter them." So JESUS GAVE THEM PERMISSION. The evil spirits came out of the man and entered the pigs, and the entire herd of 2,000 pigs plunged down the steep hillside into the lake and drowned inthe water........."
Okay, 1- Even today, demons are dangerous, powerful and destructive. It is important to recognize their evil activity, and we should avoid any curiosity about or involvement with demonic forces or the occult. (Deuteronomy 18:10-12) If we resist the devil and his influences he will flee from us. James 4:7 The demon shrieked at Jesus- - it was a shriek of fear, defense, and rebellion against God. We don't see people as being filled with demons today.....BUT.....what is society "screaming?" Society does not want any interference with their life. Let me be me!!!! I can do what I want when I want. And we wonder why our moral values are changing and have changed so much. Society is screaming at God, the church, and Christian moral values 'leave me alone.' Even in the church, some pulpits are filled by feel good pastors who don't believe everything in the Bible. The Bible is not a buffet, pick and choose. It is a full meal deal---you take it all or none!!! The demons screamed at Jesus to let them go into the pigs, which are unclean by the Jews. So, Legion (3 to 6 thousand) and all his soldiers were cast into the pigs, who ran into the lake and drowned. Demons recognize and tremble at the name of JESUS. Do we?? We tend to believe we will live forever......continue on....doing our own thing!!!! When is the time we wake up and realize that JESUS is the KEY?!?!?!? Our strength lies in our Lord and Saviour-----JESUS CHRIST!!! Where is your faith?? Thank you for reading with me today!!! Love you all!!! I did get to keep my computer today, but won't have it tomorrow.

ETERNITY!!

Good morning everyone!! I trust you had a great and wonderful Memorial Weekend!! God is good all the time, all the time God is good.
ETERNITY!!! Just what does that mean to you? Oh, well, I am not afraid of dying because I will live forever! I expect eternal life when I die! There are many torts we can cast forth on the waters of life. BUT, what does it really mean?
Isaiah 43:13 "From eternity to eternity I am God. No one can oppose what I do." So, how long has God been God? ETERNITY!
Eternity is forever.....Psalm 90:12 "Teach us to make the most of our time.....and make our efforts successful. Yes, make our efforts successful!"
Many things in our life can be restored, however, God gives us 1440 precious minutes per day to use. When day is done, this 1440 precious minutes are gone forever......How did you use them? Did you tell someone about Jesus? Did you pray for someone?
Did you at least pray for guidance?
Psalm 37:18 "Day by day the Lord observes the good deeds done by godly men, and given them eternal rewards." God desires us to be successful, not as society views success, but as God views it. One day we will all stand before the judge of the universe, Jesus Christ, and if we've made our life count through godly wisdom, we will be rewarded eternally.
Heavenly Father, we just ask now that you give us the wisdom to go about our Father's business, never passing up the opportunity to speak the name of Jesus Christ to others, and to do works which will bring glory to your kingdom. Thank you all for reading. Think about ETERNITY!!! What does it mean to you. Love you all.
