Good morning everyone!! I hope you are well and having a great day. God is good, all the time, all the time-God is good!! What a wonderful day to be alive in Jesus. Did you tell anyone about Jesus yesterday? Will you today?

Colossians 1:27 "Christ is in you which means that you will share in the glory of God."

Your dreams, the commands

Good morning! What a great way to start the day, being in the word of God!! If you need me to post this earlier, please let me know. Sometimes I just putter around and don't get right into it. Have you ever thought about all that goes on around us and why? Some things happen and we just scratch our head and look.
If you don't know what or how to study the Bible, go to Proverbs. Proverbs deals with wisdom, relationships, speech, work, and success. There are 30 chapters, read one each day. Read the chapter for that day of the month, i.e. today is the 16th so read the 16th chapter in Proverbs.
Proverbs 13:12-13 "Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life. People who despise advice are asking for trouble; those who respect a command will succeed."
God created us, knows us, and loves us. It only makes sense, then, to listen to his instructions and do what he says. The Bible is his unfailing word to us. It is like an owner's manual for a car. If you obey Bod's instructions, you will 'run right' and find his kind of power to live. If you ignore them, you will have breakdowns, accidents, and failures.
Proverbs is so strong. Take time to read chapter 16 today. Thank you for reading with me. May your hopes be fulfilled and may the commands lead you. Love you all.

What does your character reveal??

Top o' the morning to you! I hope this is a wonderful day in our LORD and saviour - Jesus Christ!!! Wow! Did you have a good or great experience over the weekend?? Many things happen and we wonder why. Stay in unity with the body of Christ - look for the good things!!

Okay, here are a couple of things to think about. John 17:10 "All who are mine belong to you, and you have given them to me, so they bring me glory." What is Jesus saying here? Have you thought about "they bring me glory."

God's glory is the revelation of his character and presence. The lives of Jesus' disciples reveal his character, and he is present to the world through them. Does your life reveal Jesus' character and presence??

Just stop and think before you get angry, before you shoot off your mouth without having your brain loaded, am I revealing Jesus' character and presence? When someone cuts you off in traffic, you cut someone off in traffic, is what you become angry about revealing Jesus?

It may be time to stop and reflect. Jesus prayed and still prays for us. We have much to be thankful for. My 13 year old nephew is in the hospital with a freak accident and has flash burns. Please pray for him - Houston is his name. Also, if anyone else has pray requests please send them and your request will be passed on to our prayer warriors.

Are you all God wants you to be??

Good morning everyone!! What a wonderful day to be the Lord's day!! Fall
is finally here. Our temperatures are finally coming out of the 80's and
90's to the 50's and 60's. YEA !! This fat pup enjoys the cool so he
doesn't sweat as much.

Do you realize GOD IS GOOD?!?!? We give GOD a lot of credit for things
we do. When something bad happens the question comes forth about why
did God let this happen or why did God do this. Did HE really??

God created us with free will. If HE did not creat us with free will
Adam and Eve would never have sinned. We make the choice. Then again,
have you noticed the closer you come to God the more you question your
salvation or relationship with God. Why do we do this??

The closer we come to God, the more HE reveals in HIS WORD for us. The
more HE reveals, the greater our feelings of unworthiness or concerns
about our relationship with HIM. Why is this happening??

God is developing us into the wonderful character that HE wishes us to
be. As God turns us into this person HE wants, the seeds of true
godliness become evident as they take root in us, and are evidenced by
our humility.

So, the greater we grow in God, the more humble we will be? Yes, we
will be giving credit to the great "I AM" not the individual "I". God
is developing us into the very best we can be, so praise HIM for
providing every tool you need to get there.

2 Peter 1:3 "His divine power has given us everything required for life
and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us."

Isaiah 66:2 "There is something I'm looking for: a person, simple and
plain, reverently responsive to what I say."

Are you of a lying tongue??? Or a caring tongue???

Good morning everyone!!! What a wonderful day to be alive in the Lord Jesus Christ!!! God is good, all the time.....all the time God is good!!!
Many times the things that make us struggle and all appears black we are only walking through the brick path of learning. God says He will see us through.....but He does not guarantee a smooth path, clear sailing, an effortless course. I have some personal prayer requests today......as I ask your special prayer God knows the needs....but most of all that I totally turn everything over to God. Thank you.
Proverbs 10:18 "Hiding hatred makes you a liar; slandering others makes you a fool." vs 19 "Too much talk leads to sin, Be sensible and keep your mouth shut."
By hating another you may become a liar or a fool. If you slander and are proven wrong you are a fool. The only way out of this trap is to admit your hateful and slanderous heart to God. Ask Him to change your heart and replace the hatred or slander with love.
Proverbs 10:31 "The mouth of the godly person gives wise advice......" vs 32 "The lips of the godly speak helpful words......."
May you be wise and helpful throughout this day, week, month, year. Many times it is difficult to bridle the tongue, however, the Bible values a caring and controlled tongue. I pray this for you and me. Please pray for yourself first today and ask God to make strengths from your weaknesses.

How can Jesus be seen through me???

Good morning!!! And the top of the morning to you....may God bless you through out this day. God is good all the time, all the time God is good. Today is the day the Lord has made let us rejoice and be glad.
1 Chronicles 28:20 "Be strong and of good courage, and di it; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the Lord God-my God- will be with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you, until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the Lord."
How can we serve God? By sharing His message, His mercy, His love with those who cross our paths. Everywhere you look people are looking for "SOMETHING", why not let that something be God!!!! What do we have to do?
We have to love God, obey His commandments, trust His Son, and serve His children. When God is the center of our lives the world will see Jesus in us....demons will tremble.....and our servants heart will show through.
From Max Lucado, "In the great orchestra we call life, you have an instrument and a song, and you owe it to God to play them both sublimely."
When you become a better steward of the resources God has given you...He give you more resources to manage. Matthew 25:21 "Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your Lord."
This applies to our spiritual life, our family life, our professional life, may all you do today bring glory to God. Thank you for reading. Love you all.

Suffering??? God's instructions???

Good mornining everyone!! Another beautiful day of our Lord Jesus Christ. May every thing we do be in and for HIS glory. My prayer for today is that people may see the reflection of Jesus Christ through you.God is good all the time, all the time God is good.
Psalm 119:71-72 "My suffering was good for me, for it taught me to pay attention to your decrees. Your instructions are more valuable to me than millions in gold and silver."
Our sufferings teach us to Stop, Listen to what God is saying. Thnings happen and we wonder why? Why did God let this happen? God made us creatures of free will and allows us to exercise that free will. When we stray, God watches, and when it is time He brings us back, and through these moments of traversing the secular world we may suffer, or reap what we have sown. We may be, and should be brought to our knees, to pay attention to God and what HE wants for our life.
Once we stop and listen, we will find that God's instructions are indeed more valuable than gold and silver. Why? Silver and gold are but for a season, whereas God's word and our life with God is not for a season, but for eternity. Living with, singing praises for, and worshipping our God, the most high forever with no pain, no sorrow, no worldly items can be nothing less than absolutely WONDERFUL!!!!
